My fiance and I spent an hour with an agent at this location talking over a tropical location for our wedding/honeymoon ... the agent took down pages of information from us on what exactly we were looking for and told us she would be in touch ... after a full week of not hearing anything we contacted her and she had no recollection of us or what we had discussed ... Huh?! .... Needless to say we went elsewhere! Pros: None that we could see. Cons: waisted time with nothing to show for it! more

Very Helpful 3/10/2010

Though I didn't book with them, they were very helpful as I tried to find a fare to the UK at short notice (like letting me know that bereavement fares no longer exist on international trips, for instance and that the reason my own searches kept coming up so expensive were that I was trying to travel during spring break). I would use them again. Well worth the booking fee if you're in a hurry and need specific and knowledgeable help. Pros: Very helpful Cons: None that I know of more

Sho Dozono is a fabulous local business leader, whose always in-tune with his company's operations. The best tenured travel agents work here. He's not a fly-by-night travel agency that operates on a shoe-string at the expense of his staff and the public they serve. From the top down, this company has a decades old reputation for treating both it's business and leisure travelers with exceptional care. Pros: They know their business! more

A 3% handling fee for ANY transaction? $25 service charge for a ticket? 5/22/2008

I bought Japan Rail Passes from Azumano. I was told it had to be a CASH payment (and my bill was above $700) and if I paied with a credit card, they'd charge 3% fee, which, according to the person on the phone, was standard for any transaction you do with them. I called another Japanese travel agent in Seattle and San Francisco and they do not charge a $25 service charge or fee for credit card payments. I would have bought them at one of these agents, but I didn't have time for them to FedEx the Passes to my in Portland. Pros: local Cons: they will dime and nickel you for non-service more
