A fine pediatric dentist 8/6/2019

I've sent my twin boys to Park Slope Pediatric Dental for most of the 19 years they have been alive -- since they first had teeth. They've received good service from Dr. Azrak (whose office is no longer on Union Street -- it's been on 6th Avenue near St. John's Place for several years). His staff is very friendly and responsive. We get email reminders of their appointments. Billing is straightforward. The office stays on schedule. I recently called to request the X-rays of my sons' wisdom teeth so I could sent them to the oral surgeon and Dr. Azrak's staff emailed them right away. When my wife called to discuss the reasons he recommended removal of the lower wisdom teeth, Dr. Azrak got on the phone and explained it to her. more

Great Pediatric Dentist 2/21/2013

Our older daughter has been going to Dr. Azrak for 4 years now. He is professional, and sensitive to the needs and often fear of his young patients. He has taken x-rays, filled two cavities and even had to pull a tooth that would not come out! He is a bit steep on the fees, but to start your child off in the right direction and excited to care for there teeth is very valuable. He even made a personal call to the tooth fairy when our daugther lost her first tooth. Highly recommend the practice. more

Very rude office staff. 6/6/2010

I have been bringing both of my children to Dr. Azrak for around 5 years now. Not only has he inflated his fees ( who in their right mind charges $180.00 for a tooth cleaning in this economy?), but his office manager is extremly rude, insensitive and lacks compassion. She actually had the nerve to pretty much call me a bad mother for not being able to bring my child in for an emergency appointment at the time she wanted to give me. I will not be bringing my chidren back to this office, and lots of people in park slope are doing the same. Do yourselves a favor, avoid this office at all costs!!! more

Pediatric dentist in the center of the Slope 12/20/2005

Dr. Azrak shares a crowded suite of offices with Dr. King, a popular orthodontist. Dr. Azrak and his staff take care of the general dentistry in the office. He's very good, but has an intense personality which may be off putting to his younger clientele. He has a couple of great ladies that assist with teeth cleanings - I'd go to this office for them along. Dr. Azrak is thorough, serious, and professional, but really young patients may also require a more child-friendly approach if they are to willingly go to the dentist. more
