I like the services here. The workers are very warm and compassionate. The office management is very good, especially Mary. I feel very protected here. The laundry is always taken...

Breathtaking Atmosphere 7/10/2014

I enjoy sitting outside, drinking my cup of coffee, and watching the birds fly by. I love the felling of the cool breeze in my face. The caregivers are very good to me; they are always there fore me when I need them, no matter the time of day. The food is very good. It is a nice clean place, and I love living here. more

Wonderful Experience 6/22/2014

I enjoy living here a lot. Housekeeping is great. I like the personal attention of the staff. I enjoy activities in the gazebo, especially trivia. And the meals are like home cooking. more

Great service 5/23/2011

Sonia has shown great kindness and compassion in the care of my Mom and I feel confident every day that she will be safe in her care. This allows me to go to my job every day safe in the knowledge that my Mom is well cared for. I wanted to be sure that you are aware of how pleased I am with the excellent care my Mom is receiving from Sonia. more

We hired Ms. Rosario Schneider, and it has been a wonderful experience. She is a caring, well-trained home health aide. Rose has a great sense of humor and an upbeat personality, which is so important for my Dad, who loves to have a good laugh. I never had to worry when Rose was with my Dad. She took excellent care of him. I am sorry to say that my Dad can no longer stay at home, but will be entering the Veterans’ Memorial Home in Paramus by the end of March.I just want to end this letter saying, I would highly recommend Senior Helpers without hesitation to any family in need of these type of services. Your company is most fortunate to have Ms. Diaz representing you – I know I feel fortunate to have met a person of her caliber and high standards. more

Then my friend gave me a senior guide that she had picked up, and inside I saw your ad for Senior Helpers. I made the phone call that really counted.My first impression of Senior Helpers could not have been better. Ms. Marie Diaz [Director of Operations] responded immediately to my call and was already gathering information to make the right fit between the home health aide and my Dad. Then she personally came to my home to discuss all my concerns and needs for Dad’s care; and already had some home health aides in mind that she thought might work out based on our needs. Marie was always available by phone and always attentive to our needs. more

Great service 5/23/2011

Sometimes, my mom has doctor appointments in NYC and Marie Diaz is always there for us. This winter was a rough one with rain, wind, snow, hail, etc., my parents were cared for everyday. Ana and Marie sure that they had food in the house and all was safe and sound. more

Ana has been with my parents through hospital emergencies, and stayed with them through all circumstances, just like family. I call her cell phone whenever I feel a need to see how things are going or when I can’t reach my parents. Every morning, Ana makes my dad incredibly handsome and gives him wonderful massages that help him get ready to face every new day. Ana prepares their meals, makes their bed, does laundry, grocery shops, organizes thing[s] at home, assists with medication, takes them shopping, to Dr. appointments, rehabilitation, exercise, walk in nice weather, takes them on all errands, wherever they have to go to keep them living safely at home. more

I can’t explain the peace of mind I feel knowing that Ana Cardenas is taking care of my parents’ everyday 7 days a week. It is a comfort for me knowing that she is with them every morning to get their day started. All the caregivers from Senior Helpers are trustworthy, honest, patient, loving and kind beyond the call of duty. This can be attributed to Marie’s experience, insight, knowledge and human understanding of seniors physical and emotional needs; finding the right care giver for the right family. more

Marie is exceptional. She handled several scrambles with seeming ease, but I'm sure they were challenging. She supported us so very, very well.All the staff, Dawn, Kadena, Rosa, and Loida, were all great. They all took care of Dad as if he was their own. Their updates to my brother, my sister and myself were all very much appreciated. They did a great job to make sure that Dad was comfortable and provided good advice for us. If you would like, I am more than happy to be a reference for your firm going forward. more

Great service 5/23/2011

he is an employee perfectly matched to her position. Marie is kind, caring and goes above and beyond the scope of her job, a quality very rare indeed in today's world! This past Saturday Marie took time from her weekend and her family to visit my Mom who is presently in Rehab, following a week in hospital. Marie brought my Mom some snacks as she knows Mom is always hungry, and might not be getting any visits over the weekend. As it turned out, Marie was Mom's only visitor. Mom was thrilled to see Marie and really enjoyed her snacks! Tim, I just wanted you to know how much Marie Diaz's gracious act of kindness toward my Mom meant, both to Mom and to me, across the miles! more
