Ayers Repairs has the best staff I have ever found. Nikki is wonderful and will give you a ride wherever you need to go. Robert and Efrain are probably the best service professionals in the business! Ayers technicians are very knowledgeable and can diagnose and repair almost anything! They took my car with a lot of problems and came up with a good plan to keep it running and in great condition. I have been taking my vehicle to Ayers Automotive for several years now. I drive from Ventura so my car is very important to me. Recently the engine started missing and running rough. I took it in to Ayers for a diagnosis of the problem. After finding a trouble code and tracing down the problem, they told me a coil had failed. After replacing the coil and doing a few other maintenance items, I got the car back the same day. As always it was washed and clean. I was amazed at how good the car is running. I recently had my car serviced at Ayers and wanted to say how impressed I was with the level of customer service and professionalism. I was initially told that my car would be done by the end of the day. After the guys got into things they had to call back and say they weren't going to be able to finish everything until the next day. Initially I was a bit disappointed because I was planning to go to a friend's house that evening and not having a car was a bit of an inconvenience. I was surprised when they offered to pick me up and drive me anywhere I needed to go. I told them I appreciated the offer, but it would be later in the evening and I could work something out. They then said they would rent a car for me (on their dime) if I wanted! I understand that delays can happen when servicing cars and I was very appreciative that Ayers went above and beyond in helping make the process as convenient as possible. The next day I picked up my car and it was washed and ran perfectly. They called a couple days later to make sure everything was going okay. I also got a card in the mail apologizing for the inconvenience of the delay and offering a free oil change. Again, totally unexpected, but greatly appreciated. Well done guys. more

As a resident of santa barbara and a customer of Ayers Automotive I want to take a moment to acknowledge the dedication,professionalism,and total overall sincerity of this locally run business.Being a single father of two teenage daughters who recently found himself in a bind not only financially, but with a huge problem . My head gasket had blown on my car. I want to take a moment to especially let people know of the professionalism and courtesy of a gentleman by the name of Efrain. He was not only honest but more importantly i felt like a customer who mattered. The price coincided with the job, and the attitude of friendliness and courtesy blew me away. I've had to go back to Ayers on two different occasions to re-fix four separate problems that I had previously gotten repaired at Ayers. It is frustrating to not have my car overnight, when the problem should have been fixed the first time. more

Quality of work was good, and customer service was excellent. My only complaint is that my car was in their custody for quite a few more days than I felt it needed to be...an air intake sensor should not take longer than a day to fix. Also, wish they would have vacuumed my car before returning it. Just a simple but thoughtful idea. more

Good shop to work with, especially on "difficult" cars. Been with Robert and Nikki for 25 years with a '61 Studebaker, a very touchy '72 Volvo, a '97 Ford, and others. I have recommended them to friends and coworkers because they offer all the amenities of a superior quality high-end dealer at the cost of a cost-sensitive independent shop and because I never hear things like "parts are too hard to find for that model" or the ever-popular "we don't have the right tool to finish what we started". more

After having my car worked on for weeks and finally getting it back the oil light went on the same day. I brought it back in and they fixed it quickly & as inexpensively as possible, waiving many of the fees they could have charged. I appreciated the effort and assistance in getting my car back to me ASAP. more
