Avondale Family Care Home Llc

I am currently working in Avondale Family Home Care. For more than 6 years working with them, I would like to share the following comments about them:\r 1. I didnt feel that our employer are abusing us. \r 2. We received a lot of incentives from our employer.\r 3. For my own opinion, we are so blessed to be with them, they treated us like their own family member.\r 4. They are fair to all their employees.\r 5. They trained their workers and they sent them to various seminars to enhance their skills and knowledge in elderly care.\r 6. We have scheduled days off and if you want more... you can have it, just request a head of time so it wont conflict with other schedules.\r \r Another thing, if there are scheduled activities in the facility like birthday celebration of the residents, Christmas party, luau and etc... we make sure that privacy and all routine activities of the resident wont be affected by the activities....\r \r more

I worked in this facility for almost 2years.i just left for a personal reason.i highly recommended this facility 1st because of a good relationship to employee and employer,2nd on time salary (if not due to busy days) 3rd you can request for your days off. \r i still work here as a reliever inspite of what i did.\r resident's families are very greatful of the care and service of their caregivers. \r all the considerations you will get to this employer.\r i work in a lot of facilities here in orange county and all i can say that this is the best facility i recommend.\r STOP C, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!!\r \r Avondale Family Care Home more power!!!thanks a lot for the good, happy and knowledgeable experienced!! more

These people are abusing their workers!!! They make them work up to 1 month and give them only 2 days of vacations. I've been so fed up with this already!!! How can such people be so irresponsible and insensitive. Their workers work really hard taking care of the patients, waking up at middle of the night for them to make sure they are okay and waking up at 5am and you can tell how worn out the are from not having any days of rest or a few. Oh and the pay is also somethign not mto talk about! They refuse to give pay stabs to their employees because they are afraid of getting in trouble with IRS for paying them under the table. Not only that, during the Christmas party 2011 they stayed with ""other"" people in the rest home after all the family of their clients left, they had alcohol and stayed until 11pm with their kids playing (by this i dont mean rlly playing, instead letting the kids stopm on the keys) the piano while their patients where sleeping in their rooms. Im tired of this, I am an AMERICAN citizen, and as ONE I say this is a CRIME!! The owers are licensed, but the way they are treating their employee WOULD DEFINITELY merit a dismissal, specially after all their hard work. more
