Avl Moving Systems

I spoke with sales person from the moving experts in regards to my moving request. Sales person made me feel very comfortable about using her company, and informed me of many cost that other companies never mentioned. Becuase of this I decided to move with the moving experts. A day before my move the movers called me to confirm my pick up window for the next day. They arrive during that window and started to gather my belongings together. They did inform me that I had a few extra boxes (which I did) and had to charge me around $50.00 more. I was happy that they told me about this cost before they moved it on the truck so I could decide to keep it or not. There were no extra rates and the extra space I took was at the same price as they told me orginally. ( I've see so many stories when I was researching that movers will give a higher rate on the pick up) Sales person insurred me that would not happen, and he kept her word. I had a 14 day delivery window, and received my stuff in about 7 business days. The movers called me the day before again to tell me when they would deliver. When my stuff reached me in IL everything looked as it did when it left. This company was very professional and knowledgable and would recommend them to anyone reading more

I wanted to thank AVL moving service for setting us up with a company that actually picked us up with little notice basically. We originally signed up with a moving company that was supposed ot pick us up on Moday or Tuesday last week and they never showed up or answered our phone calls. We had to be out of our old house by Firday at the latest or we were going to incur additional costs due to the fact that the new tenants were moving in. I had gone online and found this website and decided to contact AVL moving service and am very happy with the choice. Thank you more

They worked quickly, efficiently and professionally making sure that each piece of furniture was adequately protected before loading it on the truck. My thoughts at the time were that they worked as if they were paying me by the hour instead of the other way around. I can think of no higher praise to give moving men and you can quote me on that. I work for a national corporation in based out of Manhattan and have used this company since April of 07 for 3 moves for myself and over 25 moves for colleagues within my firm and to date have had no issues that have not been corrected and handled in a professional manner. For the most part the only issues were timing matters that were resolved and with almost 30 corporate moves between us I can honestly say that this is an extremely honest and professional company which has earned our repeated business and continues to take care of both myself and co workers on a monthly basis and is currently handling 3 moves for us. I highly recommend AVL Moving Company for their professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile to make their clients (although difficult clients at times) happy. more

I have no better words. They are super. They are really express. I called them at 11:30 AM for pickup on the same Friday afternoon 4:00 PM. I requested as emergency. The guys really did all she could to make the pickup.I was delivered and my items were in good condition. They sent me referral emails from other customers and gave me phone numbers to call. they picked me up on time and took a detailed inventory, which i got a copy of. I did my research and picked them because they were a reasonable price and had good service. I would, and have, recommended this company to many friends and family, all with good results.I had a wonderful experience with this AVL moving company. more

I have moved several times and avl moving systems was by far my best. All the promises were kept and the customer service was well above what I had expected. The final cost was below the original estimate. The salesman did not run and hide like most do after the sale. He was there at every step of the way. Everything arrived in NY the way it was in CA. In some of my previous moves, I have used some slick, cut-rate movers and had nothing but problems. I used to base my decision solely on price. Not anymore. AVL price is competitive but their customer service puts them in a class all by themselves. Avlis now the only mover that I will use. more

We really have no better words.The AVL guys and the movers did an excellent job. Very friendly, courteous and prompt. They returned my calls including weekend without any delay or hesitation and addressed my general concerns in the move. They understood my necessity and urgency. They were at our door in 3 hours after my decision to go with them. The cost was what said over the phone and not a penny more. The cost was probably the low end compared with others but at the same time, got 'VIP' treatment in accommodating our requirements. The contact person of AVL Moving company needs to be commended for dedication and commitment to their responsibilities.so, i highly recommend AVL moving company....... more

This is my thank you to AVL moving company for coordinating our move from california. They did a great job and were very informative with the whole process. We were very happy with the way we were treated and told about everything up front and did not incur additional costs. If we move again or if anyone we know moves in the future we will recommend only AVL moving service for that move more

Honestly, this movers brought us out of a bad situation and I want to write the review to thank them for it. Our original moving company which I will not reveal never showed up for our pick up nor did they even have the courtesy to call and let us know. We had to be out by midnight on the 30th of June and it was already 5pm on the 28th so needless to say we were petrified due to the fact that we would incur additional costs such as rent,hotel,food since everything was already boxed up and ready to go. We finally went onto AVL moving company and 3 companies responded within minutes more

I would like to thank AVL moving services for helping make our holiday move easy. Our initial moving company never showed up and we were desperate to move. We filled out forms and called every moving company but we couldn't get anyone on the phone. Finally we got a call back from AVL moving services and they promised that they could have us picked up the next day. The price was $500.00 more than our first company but we needed to be out. They came to my house at 7am the next day. We are being delivered tomorrow and we are as happy as can be that they were able to help us out with such short notice on Christmas. Better way to move and his crew moved my roommate and I in Dec 08 from my apartment on Union St. to my new condo in Cow Hollow. I had never used movers before because they are so expensive. I decided to get professionals to help me this time so I wouldn't send a piece of furniture through a wall in my new place and end up spending more to fix a moving accident than it would cost to pay professionals. I chose Better way to move Movers because they had so many great reviews on-line. They really lived up to all my expectations. They took 2 hours less than I was quoted, brought a 3rd guy and didn't charge for him, and met me at my storage unit across the city. These guys had furniture on their backs running up and down the stairs as if everything was light as a feather. I absolutely recommend saving yourself the misery of begging friends to help you move...just pay Better way to do it and it is done and over with in no time. Good luck with your next move! more

The first company I hired never showed up on the day of my move so I searched Craigs List and found Move All. I called the number from posting and spoke directly with the owner, on my first call. Already this was much better service than I recieved from the first company, I had to leave several messages before the first company would even call me back. Not only was I able to speak to somebody the first time I tried to call, they were also way cheaper than the first company I tried to hire. On the day of my move they called to make sure I was ready and then showed up on time. We had a TON of junk at our house but they were still able to fit it all in one truck without damaging any of our stuff. These guys moved us much quicker than we would have been able to do it ourselves and somehow figured out how to fit everything through the doors without scratching our furniture or the walls in our new house!! I'd recommend these guys to anyone who's looking for a mover!!! more
