We love the Avenue Inn and the innkeepers! 9/7/2009

This place is FANTASTIC! We have stayed there on average twice a year since 2003 and would not stay anywhere else! Joe and Bebe are wonderful! The home is beautiful and beautifully decorated, and so comfortable. We always feel like family. So nice to be on the streetcar line and accessible to everything. Then to come "home" after a busy day and just relax on the grand front porch and watch the city go by! It doesn't get any better than this. Once you stay here, you will not stay anywhere else. more

What a Find 9/6/2009

Good: The mansion was gorgeous....but very comfortable. Rooms were beautiful and had everything we needed. Nothing "cookie cutter" about this place. Unique and stunning. Bad: That we didn't have the vacation time to stay longer.. Improvements: Hard to believe, but there wasn't anything we would have changed. Obviously the Innkeepers (Joe and Bebe) know their business and have thought of everything.. Other: This was a great experience. We just had four days, but we had such a great time and relaxed; we felt like we were gone much longer.. more
