There are a lot of body shops out there. What I liked about Avenue Auto Body was the way they explained what was going to happen, approximately how long it would take to happen, what my options were and the choices involved, and what role the insurance company would play. You could say that I had a well informed set of decisions laid out before me, which I appreciated. The people at Avenue Auto Body allowed me to understand what needs to be done. Another automobile establishment referred me to Avenue Auto Body. The people at Avenue Auto Body were very friendly and courteous. They were very knowledgeable, and I was surprised at all they knew about different cars. Nowadays, cars are so complex but they knew all about the computer systems and electronics, as well as the traditional mechanics. Because they're knowledgeable, I'd highly recommend Avenue Auto Body. My granddaughter managed to get into two major accidents, and Avenue worked on her car for both occasions. They also worked on a fender-bender and my son's car, so a total of four vehicles. Avenue Auto Body was recommended to me by my insurance adjuster, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. They worked very well with me. There was a little struggle at times because the adjusters wanted to work with a different company for dent removal, and Avenue Auto Body worked for me as far as the insurance went. I had 3 cars that were damaged by hail, and 2 of them required around 5 or 6 thousand dollars in repairs. The cars now look wonderful, just like brand new. I was recommended to Avenue Auto Body by the foreign car repair place I use. I went there, and they fixed my car. They did a really good job. The first time I used them was when I had a mishap running into a mailbox. It was about $1,000 worth of damage. It wasn't covered by insurance, and Avenue Auto Body was flexible. They gave me the best price they could. They did a great job on the car, and it looked wonderful. Someone damaged my wife's car, they ran a key down the side after we had just bought the car, so Avenue Auto Body also took care of that. They did a really nice job, it is barely noticeable. I also just got my car back from them because I had an accident around the constructions on University Avenue. The car looks really good also. I joke with them that I don't really like being regular customer. They are very accommodating, thorough, and friendly. I think they do a really good job. When the insurance company gave me the quote for my car, they wanted me to take it somewhere else. However, I said I wanted to use Avenue Auto Body. more

Unfortunately I have had to use Avenue Auto Body for body work several times, but it has always been a great experience. Both my son and I have used them for our vehicles, and before they did auto body work, I used them as my alignment shop. I have been taking my car to Avenue for at least 10 years. Mike is very good with customer service. The place is very clean, and everyone is very friendly. They look out for the customer. I have never had a problem when taking stuff to them. When I used to go just for alignments it was always good as well. If you go there I think you will have a good experience. They are responsive to follow up question and get back to their customers in a timely manner. The work is also completed on time. I have had overall good experiences there. more

We flipped our truck on its side and crushed the whole side in. Avenue Auto Body fixed it all back up for us. They were real courteous. If there was an issue they would handle it, and if we had any problems they took care of them right away. They were prompt, well-mannered, and courteous. It was a good experience doing business with them. more

Avenue Auto Body has been very responsive to phone calls. They are always fair and upfront about explaining the options that are available. They always explain what they are going to do and the parts they will be using. The followup at Avenue Auto Body is also very good. They call to keep me posted on how things are progressing. The bottom line is that they do what they say they are going to do. They really conduct business in a professional manner. I have had them take care of both minor and major things, and they have even done extra for me at no additional charge. Once they fixed an extra scratch that was in the are but not something they needed to take care of. They also researched an issue for me, spent time to determine what had caused the problem, and then came up with a solution. I've used them a number times, and the car always looks as though it was professionally done and like new. I am reluctant to recommend places of business because I feel that it reflects on me personally. I think it is important to trust who you recommend. I trust their judgment, have recommended them in the past. They really are professional and honest. They have good followup and great communication throughout the process. more
