AVALON ANIMAL HOSPITAL IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO TAKE THE ONE YOU LOVE. THEY VE HORRIBLE SERVICE I DEFINITELY AGREE WITH EVERYONE ELSE THAT HAS WRITTEN A REVIEW ON THIS PLACE. I HAVE A TOY CHIHUAHA AND I FOUND OUT THE GIRLS HAD DROPPED MY PUPPY AND MY PUPPY WAS VERY HURT. I WAS UNHAPPY WITH THE EXPERIENCE I HAD TO GO THROUGH MY PUPPY WOULDNT WANT TO EAT AND IT WAS OVER DOSED. THE BOARDING PLACE IS BAD AND ALL THE PETS THERE GET TO SEE WHEN THE VET DOES SURGERIES ON OTHER PETS. ITS ALSO COLD AND WHEN I BROUGHT MY PUPPY HOME I REALIZED THAT MY PUPPY HAD A FLEA WHEN IT DIDNT HAVE ANY BEFORE. I TOOK HIM TO ANOTHER VET AND I WAS TOLD MY PUPPY HAD BEEN PHYSICALLY ABUSED AND NO ONE IN MY HOUSEHOLD HIT MY PUPPY IM GOING TO BE FILING A COMPLAINT. I HATE THIS PLACE AND THE GIRLS THERE ARE RUDE AND HAVE A HORRIBLE ATTITUDE WITH THE CUSTOMERS. I CANT BELIEVE THIS PLACE IS STILL OPENED FOR SERVICE more

this is a horrible place to take your pets. I took my 3 month old to get his vaccines there and the girls are rude the vet seems scared of the dogs and to not care one bit. if i had a concern he wouldnt even check my puppy he would say ""its normal"". last time i went my puppy was diagnosed with demodex mange, the localized one he only had 1 spot though i was told by the vet that he had to have a treatment everyweek. each treatment was 90 dollars. however i only took him twice for that treatment because the last time my puppy almost died. i did some research online and found out that the drugs they were giving him werent even approved by the FDA. they are just money hungry and their boarding place is horrible the inside of the clinic was also horrible there was blood on the floor torn up seats and it was just a horrible experience. please dont take your pets here more

this place is just in it for the money. we couldnt get vaccines because our dog was sick and now our dog has parvo and is about to die. more

I went to this vet and was treated so horrible I do not know how this place stays in business! The overall outside appereance looks like a rundown small house, with a cramped filthy lobby, torn seating. The staff is also very rude and makes you wait for a very long time before even noticing that you are there! This place is very disorganized the girls could not find my chart for over 20 minutes, my appt. was double booked with another client for the same time with one dr! They do not care about pets here at all, I was able to see there boarding area and it looks very bad place to leave pets. it is an enclosed with a large hole in the ceiling with a fan sitting on top of the freezer. All of the pets were panting and looked very uncomfortable many did not have any water! I can only imagine what it looked like beforeI asked to view they hesitated and took 25 minutes belofre i was able to go back. While I was waiting, I got to see firsthand how horrible the customer service is there were many angry customers whowere just as tired as I was of waiting. The two girls who worked there were so rude, Johanna and Alma had such an attitude with me that the one was laughing when I got irritated and went into another room and never did come out. The Dr. also made no sense at all and did not even listen to my concerns but was only trying to push me to do a dental, while I was in the room we were constantly interrupted by the ingnorant staff. The girls also screwed up my charges and had to run my cc throught several times and had to call the manager to fix their misktakes. Overall, a very unexperienced facility with little resources and prides itself on there own ignorance. I have heard the horror stories about this vet! Be warned, this is not a place I would take my pets, yet alone my worst enemy! I still love this place my pet loves coming here for his baths all the times for a great price Pros: Service more
