I have been wanting to do a whole house AV system installation for sometime now. I interviewed 4 different companies in the Austin area and decided on Kurtis and his group from AV Connection. It was the absolute best decision to make. Kurtis met with me for almost 4 hours for evaltion, then again for another 2 hours with me and my wife to go over our wants and needs, selections and upgrade potential. We scheduled a date to start the process and I knew by the end of the day that we had made the right decision when my wife stated that they were prompt, professional and meticulously cleaned up after their work (even though they were coming back in 12 hours to continue). They worked around our schedule to stay longer when we needed them to, and leave early when we needed and finished the final set-up on time and on budget. Even after the final check was written, Kurtis continued to meet with us to fine tune our system, answer our questions and fix any problems. Not wanting to deal with a big company, I took a chance with AV Connect based solely on the reviews off their web page. I dealt primarily with Kurtis who is incredibly knowledgeable and equally professional. He impressed me with how quickly he was able to gather my ideas for AV systems in my new home and transform them into a precise plan with reasonable options based on varying quality and price points. I am incredibly satisfied with the systems, the quality of their work, and the functionality of my new AV capabilities. They did my awesome media room, my patios, the rec room, the family room and my bedroom. My wife who is not a big audiophile was blown away the first time she watched an action movie in the media room. The 80" flat screen and the killer sound system let to this comment, "I felt like I was taking off in rocket ship!". I would not hesitate to recommend these fellas to anyone. I recently moved into a house that was built in 1982. I wanted a solution that completely hid the AV components, and I knew it would be rough due to lack of access space. Kurtis came by and I went over what I wanted, and he made suggestions along the way. The result is much better than I had anticipated. I knew we would have to do some serious sheetrock cutting to get everything installed, but Kurtis and Nate did an extraordinary job of minimizing damage. All access holes were cut in a way that they were easy to patch, and the end result is amazing. Left and right fronts and surrounds are in-wall, the sub is in a built-in bookshelf cabinet, and the AV rack is in a closet. It all looks like it was wired and installed when the house was built. It sounds amazing, and I couldnt be happier. Thanks guys! more

A friend referred me to AV Connect over a year ago. I had 3 rooms that needed flat screen mounting, HD connectivity wiring through the wall and a centralized location for all equipment. Kurtis/team did a fantastic job and I was extremely satisfied. Pre-Install evaluation was thorough. Kurtis listened to what I wanted and presented options that were cost effective. The installation process was quick and the team did a great job. I was very satisfied with the outcome. I received a demo after completion but AV Connect's customer service did not end here. Kurtis checked in with me a few weeks after installation to make sure that I was satisfied and did not have any questions. He mentioned to me that if I ever needed anything in the future to give him a call. Two weeks ago one of my TVs needed to be replaced. I reached out to AV Connect to explore my options. Hours later I had an email listing my options with instructions on installation of the new TV. Kurtis remembered my design/setup! He offered to come out but that was not needed. As I installed my new TV I had more questions that were responded to/answered promptly. These guys are fantastic to work with. Before you reach out to the major retailers for home installation give AV Connect a chance. You will be satisfied. These guys go above/beyond to ensure that they deliver a great customer experience. more

Travis provided me a quote for my media room, and installed the projector and sound system. I'm very happy with it. The installers were professional and arrived when they said they would. Travis did a great job assessing my needs and understanding what I wanted. He and his crew were polished, professional and efficient and installed an excellent TV/Receiver/Sound Bar/Blue Ray DVD Player/Sub Woofer solution in my living room. I was very pleased with the price, the service and the result. In hindsight, I do wish I had selected a larger television but I will buy one soon and have Travis and co. come back to install that too. :o) more

I would say that basically from my perspective, all we had to do was hand the box off to AV Connect. They took it from there. They took everything out of the box, wrote down for us where things went, walked us through it and did a complete demo for us. Really, all we had to do was just sit back and relax. They took their time, got it done in a timely manner and they made sure we were left knowing how to operate things. They even called a week later to make sure things were still working fine for us, which we were very pleasantly surprised by. more

I looked online and found that AV Connect did home installations. I wanted a television mounted on my fireplace. AV Connect was prompt in giving me an estimate and seeing what I needed to have done. AV Connect came within a couple of days, and they did a wonderful job! Everything's in order! more

AV Connect were very accommodating and flexible. They were accurate at positioning the AV equipment and used good quality equipment. They returned calls, came in, did the work fast, and cleaned up. Travis did a fantastic job on my family room A/V install. He listened to my requests and then found the exact components I needed. Even though he had never used the TV mount and receiver I ended up with, they were perfect. He also did not try to push unnecessary upgrades. He initially thought I would need a BluRay player, but when I explained what media and online services I watched, he agreed a BluRay wasn't necessary. I will recommend him to everyone I know... more

We had AV Connect hang a TV and speakers on the wall in our sun room and hook up all of our video game equipment. They also helped us set up the speaker system in our home, which had not worked properly since we bought this house. They were very professional, very knowledgeable, and great to work with.
