For several years I have lived at these apartments and before it came under its current management this has been a terrific place to live. Maintenance issues were handled promptly and correctly(rare that they were) friendly leasing agents, and great customer service. However now that it has a new management in charge, things have gone down hill very quickly. \r \r Maintenance issues, even just to get the air filter changed took over 3 WEEKS to accomplish, I finally got to the point where I just went to the office to demand the filters themselves and I would change it out. A problem with the stove top occurred, and I have reported this issue 3 separate times, even going so far to take a day off from work to wait for the maintenance tech, and I am literally told that since the stove top is ""technically"" working, there is nothing they can do ( the issue with it is that the burner connection is bent and the coils sits on a slight angle - anything that you try to cook slides to the edge of the pan and will not cook food evenly). \r \r Customer service has gone downhill, most of the staff that was there when I first moved in has been replaced, and the replacements barely seem to even care about what they are doing, even trying to get a package from the office is like pulling teeth, and some of the times I got the feeling from the agents that I should have been grateful for them to actually go through the trouble to look for and retrieve the package.\r \r The last straw is that even the rent payment system has changed, I work odd hours and I am not always able to get to the office to make rent payments during office hours, for the past several years up till today there was a drop box that would be used to drop off rent payments and as long as it was in the drop box before the office opened on the 4th day of the month, it was considered on time and no penalties. Now that box opening as been boarded up and no longer available. If not for a good friend of mine, that was able to let me make a rent payment online for me, I would have been penalized with extremely harsh penalties. \r \r Never again will I rent an apartment here, not so long at least with BH Management in charge of this place, nor will I ever rent an apartment that is owned/managed by them as well. Its too bad that I have to put a star to this place in order to get this review to be acknowledged, otherwise I would give this place 0 stars more

Above and Beyond 7/17/2008

My apartment flooded recently after only living in it for about 2 months. Water Heaters burst from time to time when they are worn out. This actually has happened in my old apartment in Louisiana when I was in college. To make a long story short, the maintenance and office staff (Jennifer especially) made sure that I was accomodated during the two-day clean up process. They put me in a beautiful model apartment and called to update me at least twice a day. The thing is, they did not have to do that. Pros: Amenities more

Inconsistent information 12/16/2007

I do not recommend leasing an apt @ Autumn Chase apts in carrollton texas. We were given an apt w/ a water stain on the ceiling & told that if we listed it on our 'move-in inventory' it would be fixed. Here we are almost 3 months later, the 'water stain' is now a full blown leak, so every time it rains, we have a leak in our apt. We contacted the local office as well as corporate & still no resolution. There are ants in our apt, supposedly pest control came by & sprayed, but we still have ANTS. We were referred by a friend & before we signed the lease, were told that our friend would receive $200 off rent. Then another person told us a different amount & yet another person gave us an entirely different amount. In the end, our friend did not receive the amount that was initally stated to us. As if this was not enough, when we have tried to get "correct" answers from anyone, it seems that the office staff do not know the answer & do not try very hard to find an answer. Instead you just end up w/ several different answers. Pros: Car Wash, Fitness center, Cybercafe Cons: Customer service, poor handling of tenant concerns, Ants in apt, leaky roof more
