Lies,Lies and more Lies, contacted Maroone about a vehicle posted on their autonation website first I was told the vehicle was available applied for a loan then was contacted and told the vehicle was sold. Sales guy buy the name of Richard Fede called me and told me the deal fell through and asked if I wanted to buy the car,I told Richard yes and we were on the way, Richard told me he would not be there as he was leaving at 6:00 and you can only purchase this car by appointment with him, I asked him if we could deal with someone else because we want this car he said it is by appointment only and will not be sold to anyone else. Richard tried to tell us this car was not that good, and smelled of smoke etc, regardless We set an appointment for 12:00 the next afternoon. The following morning he called and left a message to inform us this car was sold and we should not come in. I called him and asked how did this happen you lied to us he had no explanation, and tried to offer us another car. I asked to speak to the owner he said the GM is named Hector and he doesn't know his last name as he is new (more lies). Called the manager no answer and I am currently awaiting his response. This is unprofessional, unethical, and borderline fraud. We have purchased our last 2 cars at autonation / Maroone and we want this situation made right. I thought they were supposed to be different then all the other used car sales centers, with there low one price, no haggle, no hassle, they are all full of crap.
