This dealership’s Service Department’s customer support is truly remarkable and SUPERLATIVE! To illustrate, I bought a new Odyssey from O’Hare Honda in 4/01 and now have about 70K miles on this vehicle. While my wife was recently driving to FL, she noticed a problem with the transmission. En route, a local Honda dealer in TN confirmed that the transmission may be on its last leg. Following my research, I determined that there had been a class-action law suit filed involving transmissions of this same type of vehicle, and that as a result of which Honda extended the transmission warranty. However, in my case this extended warranty had already expired. I contacted O’Hare Honda’s Service Manager, Frank, for help and suggestions in this regard. Frank selfishly offered to contact his counter-part at the local FL dealership at my wife’s final destination, explain the problem, and ask for all courtesies and support that O’Hare Honda would extend to its customers. I was pleasantly surprised by this initiative and customer care, which is unfortunately quite rare these days. Frank did exactly as he had indicated, and the stage was set for my wife to have the appropriate work performed by the local FL dealer. Thanks to these efforts and O’Hare Honda’s diligent follow up, the transmission on my vehicle was replaced by the local dealer at a relatively nominal expense on my part, which has undoubtedly saved me several thousand dollars. Thank you Frank, and thank you O’Hare Honda! You have gained a loyal customer for life, and I hope many more similarly satisfied and grateful customers!! Pros: See below - highly recommended!! I bought Odyssey from this place last year. The sales person did not exactly know what was included in the package. We were mentioned that trip/gas usage calculator are built-in to Navigation system and MP3 discs can also play. None of these were available in the car i bought. When i approached dealership, the salesperson understood my problem but showed no apology. The manager also did not respond since car was alsready sold. I trusted them in sending me referral money that was promised during signing, but after five calls and 3 months, manager name Andrew denied it and hung up on me saying i am unsatisfied customer. Well, true i was unsatisfied because i did not receive everything that i was promised and i paid for. No one cared to know why i was unsatisfied. Pros: large selection and good service/repair department Cons: no after sales service. Rude/rough once deal is completed. more

Venture out a little from the city and you can save some cash on a Honda. Here, they quoted me a price that was $3,000 less than the Honda dealer on Western in West Rogers Park. when I arrived, they pretty much stuck to the price -- only throwing in a package that included doorguards and such that didn't raise the price much at all. And they didn't play any of the "wait here and I'll check with the manager" back-and-forth car-buying silliness. I'd recommend O'Hare Honda. more
