As always, Auto works of Brandon did an excellent job. I dropped my car off early morning without an appointment and I had a quote within hours and the car fixed my mid afternoon. You guys are great at what you do and are extremly professional in all aspects of your work. Thanks for your work and I hope I don't have to see yo again TOO SOON! more

Excellent job (no snow job) 6/26/2011

I like the frank "tell it like it is" explanations on what may be ailing my cars. Most other places do their best to "up-sell" something that is not really needed. AutoWorks will do what is needed - if you don't know what's needed, they will find out and explain in English. The two times I have been there (once for each of my cars), the service was prompt and done right the first time. Best to make appointment so they know what's coming in and why. more

Good First Experience 6/18/2011

Single shop family owned business. Mike (Owner) and Jon are very courteous and informative regarding services being performed. Clean, organized customer service area. First visit; we will return. Found the most significant part replaced, a blower assembly, online about 10-20% cheaper from most sources, but it's not clear what local discount pricing applied. Recommend Mike rework receipt to break out labor and parts. The receipt provides a good explanation of what service was performed and issues found. more

After getting several hunches from several proclaimed professional mechanics, to include the dealership, of what was labeled a major mechanical problem with a van, I called AutoWorks of Brandon and Spoke with Mr Jon Helton. Jon was exceptionally attentive and genuinely expressed a concern as to the problem with the vehicle. Jon made no possible quick solutions, but offered the opportunity to diagnose the vehicle. Jon arranged for the vehicle to be towed on a Sunday afternoon and by Monday mid-morning AutoWorks of Brandon had diagnosed the problem and made arrangements for the repairs. Throughout the entire process, Jon kept me well informed of the repair progress. Having paid a very reasonable bill, the van has been running excellent. Major kudos to AutoWorks for a job well done and Megao Kudos and a salute to Mr Jon Helton for the excellent customer service and the give a damn attitude. I shall be back and will be direct all that I come in contact with to go to AutoWorks of Brandon. more

Honesty!!!!! 6/8/2011

I cannot express how difficult it is to find an honest shop. This was the 4th shop in Brandon I have visited since I moved here about a year ago. By far this shop is the most professional, had the cleanest waiting area with free drinks, and the best warranty I have found. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. You guys are my new mechanics! more

Fix air conditioner 6/5/2011

I am pleased with the work you provide but am a little disappointed usually with the way my car looks when I get it back. Even though I have been given a coupon for a free wash I do believe that more attention to detail of how dirty the car is when given back to the customer. I know my car is not new but it is the only one I have and it didn't look that filthy when I dropped it off. Each time it is there it gets a lot dirtier. A little more attention to keeping the customers car clean would be nice. Ms Seibert more

Great Service 5/28/2011

I've taken my car a few times to Auto Works of Brandon (oil changes, changing cabin air filter, repair vacuum hoses & intake boot, air conditioning repair, and gas tank repair) and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly, honest and my car gets fixed like its supposed to. Usually I get that I can't trust anybody feeling when it comes to auto repair, but these guys are really top notch and I definitely recommend them to anyone else. more

Excellent Service-Again! 5/24/2011

John and the guys fixed a mysterious front-end "squeal" on my wife's 2000 Subaru Forester installing new belts and checking out the rest of the front end. This work took several hours and when we picked up the vehicle later in the day we were only charged for an oil change ($28.00) as the rest of the service was done under Auto Works outstanding Warranty Service -- we had major work done on the Subaru back in 2010. These guys stand by their work and their warranty! Nice Job!! more

Flawless Service 5/23/2011

Just a quick note to say thank you for doing a complete job with my 2005 Chrysler van. This is the longest I have owned a car and with your help I can drive another 100,000 miles. The checklist that you use to make sure I am driving a safe vehicle is very long and I like that. more

My Honda CR-V LOVES these guys! 5/13/2011

After getting an unsure & expensive report from the local (and more convenient) mechanic in Ruskin, I headed to see Mike and Jon in Brandon. Within minutes they found the problem, kept my car to fix it, got me a rental car so I could drive back to Ruskin . . . and viola my car is running great!!! Don't even waste your time anywhere else, just come to these guys! 210,000+ and more to go! thanks greatly! more

AC Problem 5/4/2011

John and Eric went above and beyond to work with our insurance company to get our AC back to ice cold. Very polite, courtesous and friendly staff always makes a big difference in customer service. Will definitely recommend to anyone who needs their car worked on. more
