I brought my truck into this shop after reading the reviews. While the kindness of the staff was appreciated, the quality is definitely subpar. \r \r I figured out something was wrong within the distributor area. See I'm pretty knowledgeable with regards to vehicles and maintenance issues. The only reason I was bringing my truck into a shop is because I couldn't reach the area I needed to so I could get the job done. \r \r Brion and his team stated that indeed the distributor was the problem and installed a new one. When reviewing my old distributor Brion tried to reassure me that it was quite worn. Upon inspecting it, there was slight wearing upon the unit, but certainly not enough to warrant replacement (this was also confirmed by 2 additional mechanics on 5/16/14. \r \r In addition, Brion stated that my intake manifold gasket had to be replaced immediately. I felt this was not an issue and upon further inspection by additional mechanics (5/16/14) there is minimal leakage. \r \r I contacted Brion on 5/9/14 informing him that my truck was out of time. He told me this was impossible unless I had moved the distributor. He told me that I would need to pay an additional $100-$200 for a fuel flow test as he felt the issue was a clogged fuel injector and that at minimum the injector job would start at around $800 for the parts only.\r \r At this point, I was done with this shop. See I had another mechanic take a look at my truck and he also determined that it was out of time. So I was giving Brion a chance to make this right and he did not instead he came up with a bogus claim of clogged fuel injectors. \r \r Another mechanic (so that makes 2 additional mechanics) took a look at my truck and determined that the distributor was not installed correctly and this caused a multitude of other issues due to carbon build up. \r \r I am so disappointed in this shop. I am extremely disappointed that I paid someone to do work on my vehicle and the job was not done correctly. I'd rate this shop a zero if I could. Since I can't, I will continue to get the word out about this shop. I'll never recommend it to anyone. more

I found these guys on this website, called them and got a good feeling, so took my 2002 Jetta there for a timing belt replacement, oil change, and water pump replacement. They were very, very professional, totally straight up about the costs, and almost perfectly accurate with the estimate. They are family owned and operated - father and son - and the son is the one I worked with. Super sharp, very professional guy. Bottom line is I plan to take them my vehicle from now on - from oil changes to timing belts. A reliable, honest automotive shop is not something to take for granted in my opinion. Pros: professional, honest, high level of expertise Cons: Will probably pay a bit more for the quality - not sure, but probably - totally worth it more
