I've been with Auto Express for over 20 years and they have been really wonderful to me. It is a wonderful place to go, and there is no question that I would recommend them. Those guys know me well over there. If my car has a problem, they tell me what needs to be done and what can wait. I've left them my car when I've left town, they wind up getting the car dealt with, then they take it to another place to get the windshields done, and when I came back it is all done and I didn't have to go all over the place myself to get it done. They know me by first name at Auto Express, which is wonderful. My husband didn't trust everything they said at first, but then he came around. Now, even when we want to buy a new vehicle, we consult them first. We like them, we trust them, and we tell people that they are the best place to go. more

First of all, Auto Express has really nice people. The guys who work there are great. I never feel like I am taken advantage of as a single woman. I have never had an issue, and I have been going there for years. I haven't had a single bad experience. In my opinion, the quality of work is exceptional. If I do have something right after service, I got back in and they take care of it. They do more than just oil changes. They are not just a quick drive through. They do a lot of quality services. more

As a female, I have been to a few auto repair shops in town that have treated me with little respect. I think most mechanics assume that women just don't get cars. I LOVE AUTO EXPRESS because Paul and his staff have always been friendly and treated my car and I with such care and respect. They have always taken the time to explain and communicate my cars repairs and they have been very pro-active in taking care of my wheels. I have recommended these guys to all of my friends and family. more

i went the extra mile to register here to leave this review.. I've gone to Auto Express several times for the convenience of the 'drive through oil change'. This service is still overpriced after using the phonebook coupon but I'd taken my car in on a few occasions strictly for the convenience. I felt good knowing that they're ""Diamond Certified"", which means absolutely nothing to me moving forward. I took my wifes Lexus in for an inspection after discovering it vibrated violently when braking at 60mhp. ""Paul"" informed me that I needed new roters and break pads all the way around, and would do it for $800. They would even include a free oil change if I did it today. I went to Sears for a second opinion. I told them I thought I needed new roters/pads and asked what it would cost... $500 for the full deal but they wanted to test and try to salvage my current roters first. They tested and decided that my rears were fine and they could resurface the front roters and throw on a new brake pads for $200. I had them do it and the problem is 100% resolved. Her car brakes on a dime with no issues and I saved $600! I make a descent living but you can do a lot with 6 extra $100 dollar bills! I have never been a big backer of Sears but props to them for doing me right. I will never go back to Auto Express and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Whatever you do in automotive repair, get a second opinion. It certainly paid off in my experience with Auto Express. Lesson learned. more

Aptos, CA 1 star rating 8/29/2009 BEWARE!!! The sleeping dog bites!!! Burn me once Shame on me....Never again. No Problem about the work done in this shop!And their employees are a bunch of nice guys,always with a smile! But do your home work before you buy any parts from them!!!!!! Why you say? They took me for a ride on my shocks I had them install on my work van for a cool 150% mark up on the shocks.Yikes If I would have bought the shocks myself I would have save over $400.00 big ones holy smoking burning georges bat man!! I recently went in had a front alignment done and talk to a long time employee about the over mark up,after him hearing my side he kindly gave me the $98.00 alignment for FREE( OR WAS IT??)...any hoot I ask for a price on some over load springs(Your going to love this their PRICE was $620.87 for the springs and mounting kit.So I go home and get on the puter and guess what same Springs (Hellwig) Plus the mounting kit they through in for FREE (Express wanted $216.72 for something I get FREE) So I get the whole shabang for $229.19 including shipping which cost $31.23................NICE GUYS BUT....Watch it when they ask you to bend over!!! Because they will give it to you right where it hurts the most in your check book. Pros: I TOLD YOU SO!!! Cons: If you choose not to listen,it`s your own fault! more

Shop put transmission fuild in motor and refuses to make right after my auto dealer found the mistake. Horrible customer service assuming I was mistaken and denying the error. Never offered to help or even apologize. Will take them to small claims as a result. Cons: may destroy your vehicle and will not be held accountable more
