I had a hitch put on my toyota. They got the wrong one in, so watsted hour drive for me. Came back when they got the right one in and had me in and out in no time. Comfortable waiting room, tv, coffee. The lady there smacks her gum which is very rude and annoying. But all in all a great experience and they have my thanks and future business. more

I've been to this shop several times now and feel I've received fair service each time leading up to my most recent visit. I had a flat tire, which I purchased at this shop only about a month earlier, and took it in for repair. The service person looked at it for less than 30 seconds and said "I can't see the hole so you need a new tire." I have since found there are several other alternatives to repair the tire without replacing it, but no effort was made to investigate the cause of the flat and whether it could be repaired, despite being practically brand new. It was also a bit annoying the jack was haphazardly thrown in my trunk, rather than secured in its proper place with the spare. I'm disappointed with this service, especially after spending about $1,000 at this place in the past 6 months. I will look for a new shop because I don't feel like I can trust this one anymore. more

I have been going to these guys for over a year and they are had them work on 3 different cars. All of the repairs have been good and timley, they will send you email reminders if you forget your oil change is due and lots of other helpufl stuff. They are also REALLY nice, I sold them one of my cars and they gave me a great deal on it. I have been to a few mechanics but I like these guys the best more

I'm always pleased with my service at your shop and the friendly way customers are treated and believe me it's refreshing when you have relocated to NC and are looking for the great hometown type places to deal with and your shop makes me feel that way..:) My son has visited there also and was happy with the service he got. I have had bad experiences with some of the larger auto repair places that seem to find more wrong with your vehicle than you can imagine. This was not the case here. They took care of business in a professionalway and I will return next time I need maintenance or repairs more

One question I have when I move to a new area is: Where is a capable, honest, reasonable auto maintenance/repair shop? When I moved to Southeastern Seminary as a student, SEVERAL students recommended Auto Care of Wake Forest. They inspect your car, and educate you so you understand what your car needs to prolong its life and make it as safe as possible. We have two vehicles--a Camry and an F150--that we've been taking there since 2006. I have recommended them to scores of people. They don't try to sell you maintenance you don't need. I once asked them when they were fixing my car why they didn't replace a certain thing they included in my initial estimate. They told me that after further investigation it didn't need replacing, which saved me money. Sometimes, though, they have had to break the hard news to me that something more serious and costly needed repair. I have enough history there to know they're not just blowing smoke--they are being honest about what needs to be done. To date, I have never had to return something they didn't fix right the first time. They're capable, honest, reliable, and they have that small-town friendliness. When I move away from here, I'm going to have a hard time finding someone else I trust with my vehicles like I trust these guys. more

We relocated here and I was very nervous about finding a mechanic I could trust. I called an Elder at out Church and he recommend Joe. I drive paid for cars with WELL OVER 100k on them so they do need a bit of attention :) I would recommend Auto Care and Quick Lube Wake Forest to anyone without hesitation. I never worry about cost or if my car will get repaired properly because they have proven to be TRUSTWORTHY across the board! more

I was in a precarious situation where I had to leave the state and wasn't coming back, and yet the company was able to finish the job I started and hand off my car to a friend. In fact they also fixed another problem on the vehicle for no extra cost!! The job was done to above standard measures. more
