I have been t this shop several times and they have always been GREAT!! They treated me with respect and checked out my car as soon as they possibly could. Gave me an estimate that was always right on and fixed the car the same day unless it was totally imposable. Always were very upfront about what had to be done and if something could wait awhile. Always gave or showed me the old parts. Told me if where money could be saved if possible. Gave me a ride home when i needed one. These guys are the BEST !! Great service and very fair prices!! more

This place is really great. The owner and workers are really friendly and willing to help. They do honest work and at reasonable prices. When my sister's car starting smoking on the road, one of the employees drove out after hours to help us. Quality service and trustworthy. Definitely a good place to take your car. more

Quality Service Which Was Affordable And Professional 1/22/2011

I have been coming to Auto Care Experts for the last seven years and I believe that it is one of the most formidable places to get any sort of service. First off, they are incredibly professional. They are so willing to help out their customers--i.e. give them loaner cars, etc.-- that you actually feel like you're in a dealership. Secondly, they are incredibly fast: I've had a wonderful turn-around with them-usually just a couple days at the most. Thirdly, they are professional and reasonable. For the services that I have received from them over the years, they have always been fair and and moderately priced--way below their competition. Overall, I don't think you could ask for a more reliable place to bring your car to get fixed in this area. I think their years of professionalism and service speaks for itself. more

Best mechanic in So. O.C. 1/6/2011

I have been going to Auto Care Experts for over 7 years now. Every time I call them and say my name both Mark and Fred remember who I am. They have been keeping my 2000 Contour in great running shape. And they do it with good, friendly service at competitive prices. I?m a firm believer in ?you get what you pay for?. You might be able to find a cheaper mechanic, but you might not like the results. I have never driven away from their shop wishing I had gone to another mechanic. more

The best auto repair shop in town, we trust them 12/17/2010

Me and my family have been using auto care experts for over 20 years for all of our mechanical and when ever we needed our car to worked on for accident work and this shop has been giving us the most professional and honest work with lost of extras, when ever we needed service there was free loaner ready for us and they are reliable, we recommend auto care experts to every one, they are the best. more

Quality Auto Care!!! This is the place. 12/9/2010

This is the best shop in town! I have been a customer for several years now and won't take my '04 Nissan Murano anywhere else. Fred and Mark help me keep it running like a clock and provide me expert advice, terrific service, fair pricing and consistently solid results. They always work on my car like it was their own. If you're not yet using Auto Care Experts for your maintenance, you should be! I recommend them highly for professional, high quality auto services. more

Not happy with this repair shop at all. 11/14/2009

I had Bad and unpleasent experience going there. Extremely expensive. \r They did not do a good job and I felt they charged me a lot. \r In my personal opinion i do NOT recommend this place. \r Their prices need to be more reasonable. more

Autocare Experts is my repair shop for the last 15 years 10/25/2009

I have been taking my car to this shop for over 15 years and i have recommended this shop to my family and friends, they are have been taking care of me and giving me a fair price, i do not look for cheep but fair, one time they even warranty one of the repairs even past the one year, they give me a loaner car every time and my car is always washed after service and i never had to take it back for the same problem, that is why i like this shop and i recommened them. more

I had a bad water leak on Saturday afternoon when I called this shop,The owner and manger worked on my car for 2 &1/2 hours after the closing in order for me to make it home in LA, Thank you Auto Care Experts.\r I will be doing all my major repair at your shop and would not hesitate to refer any one to your shop. more

A GREAT PLACE TO GET NOTHING!!!!!!! 4/10/2009

Was going to have $6000 worth of work done in an accident claim. They were very nice and scripted until I got the car in. Then they flipped a 180 on me. They gave me no help, no answers, lots of broken promises. Prices changed several times. Got no results until I had a tow truck to pull the car out of their shop. They charged me for everything they could think of for my car sitting with no work being done. They thrashed my car with bondo dust inside and out. Also they charged me a substantial amout for the loner car that was free until I had a problem with them. It had a dead battery twice. The brakes were metal to metal, the check engine light came on, and the door wouldn't lock. I know it was suppose to be a free loner but come on. Anyhow beware. THey are very rude, dishonest , and only customer friendly until they think they have you cornered with charges. Pros: there are none. They are dishonest. Cons: broke down loner cars, false charges more

One step above criminals 3/31/2009

Places like these are what give mechanic shops a bad name. \r \r My experience: Had major engine problem. Towed it in for an opinion. New engine would be $5000. The owner said he could fix for $1600. I told them to go ahead and was thrilled. Went to pick it up after delays and more delays. Bill came to $8000. (not kidding).\r \r At that point, what do you do? I need a car, they can put a mechanic's lien on my house. What could I do? I paid them and the thing broke again precisely when the warranty on their work ran out. I would never go back there. And I work on cars! Shame on me for trusting them.\r \r These people are crooks. If you're fortunate enough to not have been taken by them (yet), consider yourself lucky. If you take your car to this shop and ignore the obvious warnings posted here, then you're misguided. Proceed at your own risk. more

best guys in town 11/2/2008

I was refferd by my freind to auto care experts and i am very happy to try them, my car had hard start that dealer told me i would need to spend $1200.00 for fixing it, auto care experts fixed it for $583.00 in almost half price, i was givin a free lonaer car and my car is running better that ever thanks to them. more
