I had an appointment at 11:00 am to do oil change, When I arrived (around 11:06) their was 2 customers in front of me in line. both customer were paying for the service they get. by the time I was helped it was around 11:15 am, I give them the keys and wait with my wife and the kids in the waiting area. Til 12:20 pm they never start the oil change even their was no customer came after me or at the waiting area. It is not my first time to use their service, but since the business sold and the name change, you feel the different once you arrived. I will never use their service any more. more

I recently had a problem with my 2003 Dodge Caravan which was suddenly having poor acceleration and horrible milage. It seemed like it could have been a bad O2 sensor, or fuel injectors, or fuel filter. After having performed the three jobs over the course of an entire weekend and still having the same problem, I decided to take it to Domestic Auto Experts. While I waited there I let them know what parts I had replaced already and they went ahead and double checked to make sure those parts were working correctly as well as performed a compression test on the engine. It turns out that there was a broken valve spring on the #1 cylinder. They said they would have it ready a day later because they had to special order the valve spring, and put me in a rental, which was only $9/day! This was great news because we had spent too much on a rental from a 'big' name rental company already. I got my caravan back in no time and it was running perfect again!\r \r I wish I had taken the Caravan to them the day it happened, instead of wasting time and money on it myself. I never would have figured out the problem with the valve spring. Thankyou Domestic Auto, you guys really are Experts! more

They quoted $1000 for a fuel pump replacement other shops quoted $530-$600 for. On the invoice they claimed there was smoke when they opened the hood. This was untrue. I changed the fuse for the fuel pump myself before it was towed in and no such ""smoke"". When I tried to get it towed to another shop for a cheaper repair, they magically lowered their price. They also threatened to charge me over $200 for the tow and diagnosis if I brought it somewhere else. They never took any photos of the damage as they advertise. A couple of days later, my car died and when I called them they were more concerned with arguing with me than standing behind their work. I brought my car to another shop that found loose wiring, reconnected it and charged me nothing. Now a couple of weeks later my car died again and the wiring to the main computer was burnt. I truly feel DAE tampered with my car. They are a bunch of theves, don't take your car there, it will never run right again. Cons: Liars, and they tamper with your car! more

I went here for the first time for an oil change and was impressed overall. The guy behind the counter offered me something to drink while I was waiting and even went so far as to make fresh coffee for me. Everyone working there was friendly and professional, and the inside was much cleaner than any other repair shop I've ever seen. I will definitely be back. more

I went to get my oil changed here and the people were great! Their representative gave me regular updates while I was waiting. They took pictures of my car with suggested repairs and explained everything to me -- now my pictures are on my online profile. Everyone is super helpful and the the store is very clean! A++!! more

I have to agree the rental car being there is good and cheap. But, that's it. They overcharge the crazy out of you. I called the local dealership and compared the parts they sold me and the aftermarket parts to the dealership parts. Guess what they were almost two times higher. I can't even tell you this place robs people. Now, the labor that too they are crazy. Overcharged by double and sometimes triple. Cons: Crazy crazy prices more

I took my car in for an oil change and the experience was great! The waiting area was clean, and the people were really professional. From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I drove away with freshly changed oil, I was well taken care of. I?ve never experienced such a high level of attention and service from an auto repair shop. I?ll definitely go back the next time I need something fixed. more

With several vehicles we need a dependable, trustworthy mechanic and Domestic Auto has worked VERY well for our needs. With picture documentation I know we are getting the truth about condition and need for repair work. They work quickly to inspect the whole car--not just one part--and give a print-out estimate of repair costs that is easy to follow and understand. They explain what is needed now and what repairs are recommended but can wait if I need to budget the cost. They clearly explain the options of new or refurbished parts and let me choose which is best for me. The Car Care credit option has helped with 6 months no interest on big repairs. The $9/day rental cars have been a lifesaver and save a lot of $ over other rental options. Recently we had a car with a bad transmission and knowing *all* the repair needs helped us make a wise choice in repair or peplacing the vehicle. I can trust the guys at Domestic Auto. They are looking out for my family's safety by taking great care of our autos. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a car or truck. more

I recently moved to the Houston area from out of state. I have been trying to locate a repair shop that I could take my car to and not worry about them ripping me off. I was lucky enough to stumble upon Domestic Auto Experts one day when I had a flat tire. I limped into their parking lot on a flat. They not only took the time to look at my tire (at 6 a.m.) but also found the nail and plugged my tire at no charge. That sealed the deal for me!! I was hooked on Domestic Auto Experts. I recently went back again for some service work. Not only did they get my car in right away, but they also gave me a free ride to work in their shuttle van. When we realized that my car would not be done that day because of some additional work that I wanted done, they came and picked me back up at work, and allowed me to use on of their rental cars!!! I left the shop that night with the peace of mind that I could now get to work and run all of my errands even with my car in the shop for repairs. I did not have to worry about getting around. It is makes for such a pleasent experience!!! The next morning, I received a phone call just to update me on my car and let me know that the repairs were going great. I waited for the other shoe to drop and hear about more money needed, but it was just an update to let me know the repairs were going great!! I went in later that evening to pick up my car after the services were performed. When I got there, my car was parked out front and ready to go. The advisor that I worked with immediately recognized me by face when I walked in. He went through the entire invoice with me and even answered my questions about ther service. As an added bonus, he even showed my the bad brake pads that had come off of my car. This reassured me that the digital pictures he had sent me earlier were legit! Thank you Domestic Auto Experts for being everything that your name says you are!!! You have a customer for life here! Pros: Rental Cars, Shuttle Service, Digital Pictures, Web Cams, Knowledgeable Advisors, Clean Shop, They go out of their way to make sure that you are happy!! Cons: None at all!
