Austin Window Fashions has helped me three times in the last two years and the experience has been perfect every time. Leslie Pas helped me design shudders in a tight area. She was able to design the shudders on a computer in my home. I could visualize the shudders right away and have confidence in my purchase. And installed, the shudders look awesome! more

Go to these guys if you want high quality shutters 1/14/2011

After recently purchasing a house, I was interested in outfitting my family room with plantation shutters. The windows in my house are quite large (48" wide), and it was hard to find a company who would manufacture single panel shutters to fit larger windows. I soon discovered Austin Window Fashions, and decided to visit their showroom. I was greeted by Jeff Edgar who was pleasant to talk with and very knowledgeable. He explained to me how their shutters are constructed and why they were capable of manufacturing single panel shutters to accommodate my larger sized windows. As a person with an engineering background, I was impressed with their construction. He even gave us a tour of the manufacturing facility behind the showroom to show us how they were assembled and finished. Now when I look at shutters at other stores, I can clearly see what he was talking about. So far I haven't found anything built to the same quality as the shutters I have bought from them. more

He is professional and courteous and even took us on a tour of their production area. We spoke with a few other companies, but no one impressed us as much as Jeff. more

We had a wonderful experience with Austin Window Fashions and would highly recommend them! Our sales person, Jeff Edgar, came to our house and he was prompt, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and gave great advice. We purchased a home that already had shutters throughout 3/4 of the house and wanted to put shutters on the rest of the windows. Austin Window Fashions shutters are MUCH better quality than our existing shutters! They exceeded our expectations. They are gorgeous and I love them! We have gotten many compliments! Ask for Ray to do the installation! He's been doing it a LONG time and he really knows what he's doing! Very professional. Overall, it was a pleasant experience! Thank you Austin Window Fashions! Love the new blinds! 4/12/2010

I went to Austin Window Fashions hoping to get an idea of what type of blinds to get for 3 bedrooms in my house and was relieved to see how easy of a process they make it. I went to the showroom and Jeff helped me go through different samples and gave me good advice on the different types, based on what I was looking for. The shades have now been installed and we?re loving it. Not only do they look great and make a HUGE difference in each room, but they also completely lock out all of the light at night so it?s nice to sleep in a pitch black room without having to go to a hotel! I?m so impressed all around ? great quality of blinds, easy process, and great customer service from start to finish too ? I definitely highly recommend them! I love the Shutters I bought from Austin Window Fashions 3/26/2010

I love window shutters and had wanted them for years. I puchased wooden blinds from Austin Window Fashions in 2003. So, when I decided to buy shutters, I called them first. Leslie Plas was the sales person who worked with me, came to the house and measured the windows, and gave me advice on all the features. I ordered shutters for four living room windows and they have made my living room. They are wonderful. The quality is excellent as was the service. Get What You Pay For 3/22/2010

I ordered 3 shutters for my master bedroom. Other manufacturers use weaker woods, shoddier hinges/hardware and foreign manufacturers. These shutters are made in the USA (Lubbock, if I remember correctly), and are higher quality. The service was very good -- helpful staff, shared useful information, prompt in follow up. Also, these shutters were ready in half the time that other competitors were quoting for their products (I spoke to 2 national hardware chains, and two other local specialty shutter shops). While these guys were not the cheapest (they weren't the most expensive, either), they are local (I'd rather keep my money in my community than have it sent to some far off corporation) and the product was better. All in all, I would recommend these guys and use them again myself. In fact, I am thinking about using them to put some energy saving shades on the western windows of my house. Excellent service & product! 3/9/2010

We just bought a new home and weren't sure we wanted to spend a lot of money on shutters but for the product, service, & lifetime warrantee it was absolutely worth it. Jeff Edgar helped us with everything and was wonderful! He made sure we were taken care of and we are so happy with our new shutters. They even have a beautiful trim around each one. Impeccable service and product quality 3/7/2010

We were in the final stages of a major remodel when we realized that we really needed shutters for the french doors and window in the master bedroom. After comparing time and price estimates from several vendors (including Direct Buy, which we are members of), we discovered that Austin Window Fashions seemed far and away the best choice. Not only because they offer a product that seems to be just as good as Hunter Douglas (which they offer too), but that they made a direct effort to work with the manufacturer (who they have a close realtionship with) to meet our deadline (which they did!). Plantation Shutters 1/4/2010

This is my second round of plantation shutters with Austin Window Fashion...I am grateful that the moon and stars were aligned so that I had the opportunity to work with Jeff Edgar....When you spend thousands of dollars for a full house of shutters, you want to feel like it was well worth it....I do! I had the shutters installed while I was away for the holidays and Jeff keep me posted along the way....I never once had to put the "shutters" on the worry burner which has been totally occupied with other New House issues. Austin Window Fashions recently installed wood shutters in my home, and the result was phenomenal. From the beginning, Jeff Edgar, my sales associate, was attentive and professional. He worked with me to obtain the perfect stain match for my shutters. The final result was stunning. The shutters are a work of art and add class and sophistication to the house. Excellent Service and Quality Product 11/16/2009

We recently purchased a house in Sun City. I wanted shutters installed and had limited time in town to get measurements. I called Austin Window Fashions and they came out the same day (on a Saturday after store hours) to accomodate my time constraint. The shutters arrived on time. The installation was professional and the quality of the product was excellent. The shutters are also manufactured in Texas, which I like. I would definitely recomment Austin Window Fashions to anyone who is shopping for quality and and wants to be treated professionally. more
