We contacted Lucas to help make our home system already installed much easier to use. The original home system worked but was too complicated and needed adjustment too often. The TV was misplaced and needed relocation, the system was not laid out properly, and we needed an easier control system. The bid included making two other smaller systems work better. Pros: On time, below budgeted estimate, delivered results Cons: Wished we would have had them help earlier! more

These guys have been in and out of my new high tech James Bond house for the past few months and they have gone above and beyond and been nothing but a pleasure to work with. I can now control every TV, DVR, DVD, stereo, thermostat, light etc in my home from my iPhone or iPad. The wiring is meticulous and neat and precise. They did an excellent job and now I want to keep adding stuff just to keep them around. Austin Home Systems is a great company who is so diligent in their work -I highly recommended them!! I feel fortunate to have called Lucas first because I got everything I asked for and so much more. Having talked to others, I know I got the best deal around. The installers were very professional and made sure everything was neat and tidy before leaving. I will definitely call them again and would, without hesitation, recommend them to anyone. If anyone is looking to have a system installed, you could not do better than Lucas. Not only is he a perfectionist, but he has a huge knowledge base on the subject matter of his business. He is professional, yet down to earth. He installed my whole system in 2 hours less than originally quoted, saving me money. Lucas and his team at Austin Home Systems installed a custom sound system, including a flat screen television, in our home and outdoor living area. Lucas and his team provided planning, wiring and installation services for an 11, room, 6 source Audio and Video distribution system with Multiple Custom Programmed RF Remotes capable of controlling all components from anywhere in the house. additionally he and his team installed a home theater with projector and Screen utilizing both old and new components. Austin Home Systems were the absolutely most flexible team i have ever worked with, even coming out on Sundays when required, changing their schedule to fit mines from time to time and just sharing my vision, which allowed us to avoid major change. I need to add, Lucas and his team were working on this project in phases over 3 months - they always stayed in touch from Pre-wire through the final button being programmed on the remote, we even did business and planning over the phone while I was traveling internationally when issues arose. I am probably the most difficult customer Lucas has had, and I can tell you I never felt like I was a problem for him or his team.His prices were reasonable, and in some cases he matched prices that were still lower than his. I got my TV (52"" Samsung LCD) and installation for less than the cost of just the TV at Best Buy. The install was pretty cheap, I saved over $100 compared to the Best Buy price. If you want to save even more money get your cords and mounts from monoprice. Austin Home Systems will use whatever you have to install as long as it is compatible with the TV you get. They installed with all the cords hidden in the wall and the TV hanging above the fireplace for $215. They will asked me for payment for the TV in advance, which made my wife very nervous, but rest assured that everything went perfectly. They even went out to the warehouse to pick up my TV for me so I could have it installed on the day that they originally promised. Austin Home Systems is a great place and I highly recommend them! Timely installation, a great TV and a great deal... what else could I have asked for? Great job guys! Pros: Timely Delivery, Good Deal, Quality Install, Very Professional. Cons: Paying in advance made my wife very nervous. more

With all the different devices installed on my tv, it had become such a mess to use. This remote for volume, that one to change channels, another one for a dvd, it was too complicated. I called up Austin Home Systems and they suggested I get a universal remote. They were able to have a technician out the next day to fix it all. He programmed the remote quickly, which looked complicated to do and then gave me step by step instructions on how it all works. Now one button turns everything on and one to turn everything off. It's all so simple. He told me to put all the other remotes in a drawer, that I wouldn't need them anymore. So that's exactly what I did. Thanks guys! more
