We have been taking our cats to Dr Monyek for many years and have always had excellent, professional and compassionate service from him and his staff. He has spayed 4 kitties for us, helped us through a terminal illness, come to the house to do exams and vaccinations, coordinated a cremation for us, and offered great advice and suggestions over the years. When we lost our old girl, he and his staff gave hugs, consoled us and sent the sweetest sympathy card with a personal note. It meant so much to us. I highly recommend him and his clinic to anyone looking for a reasonable vet with a kind and caring heart. more

Confidently Reccommend Dr. Monyek/Austin Bluffs Animal Cli 9/19/2011

I have a Himalayan and two lab mix puppies that are 9 months and 4 months. I have been taking my animals, who are my kids since my kids grew up, to Dr. Monyek for many years. I am always amazed at how thorough and caring he is. I also have never had an animal notice they were getting a shot. My animals are actually excited to go to the vet because of the staff and the doctors. We drop by in between visits so ""the kids"" can say hello! I have had many animals and many vets in my lifetime. I will never go to another vet clinic. Dr. Monyek, Dr. Eli, Brian, Gene, Deena, and the rest of the crew are all fantastic! more

Excellent!! 3/6/2011

We recently took a very sick kitty here as a new patient. Dr. Monyek went waaay beyond what we paid for and even gave us a patient discount. The place is very clean and set up for pets rather than humans. I think they have some new office staff so maybe the bad review situation has been solved? The quotes I received were correct. more

Amazing Animal Clinic!! 2/25/2011

I recently moved to this area and was recommended by a friend to take my pup to this clinic. We ( my pup and I ) were very impressed with the friendly staff and how well the Dr took care of my little girl. The clinic prices were very reasonable considering the care we recieved. The Dr was very thorough and informative and we enjoyed our visit with her very much. That's right, word does spread quickly and I would recommend this clinic to anybody who loves and cares for their pets! more

Great Vet!! 2/10/2011

I find the previous negative review hard to believe. It has been the the exact opposite when we have taken our pets to see Dr. Monyek. He is a wonderful Vet! We have been clients for a very long time. He and his staff have always been very accommodating whether it has been an emergency situation or not. His prices are very reasonable, and he doesn't do unnecessary testings or procedures. They have always treated our animals with kindness. We have peace of mind when we take our animals in to see Dr. Monyek. He is a great Vet and really cares about our pets! more

AWFUL SERVICES - DONT TAKE YOUR PETS 1/18/2011

My friend recomended this place and I called and the office girl told me there would be no fee for an exam to provide a cost for spaying (and to let me know if my pet was old enough). When I arrived, the girl told me it would be $39.00. I hesitantly agreed. The vet examined my pet and I agreed to a Rabies shot that was due. The Rabies shot is not a muscle shot but whatever the vet did, hurt my pet and she cried very loudly which was difficult to bear. When I went to pay, the office girl told me the cost was $49.00 plus the shot. When I tried to remind her that she quoted me $39, an older man with glasses (office manager, owner?) inisisted on the $49 fee and was VERY RUDE. He insinuated that I was a liar and a thief and I was appalled at his behavior and lack of professionalism. He chose to believe his ""perfect"" employee instead of a customer and now his poor behavior will cost Dr. Monyek because word spread quickly. more
