This restaurant ranks right up there with Alain Ducasse in New York, and easily surpasses most, if not every, Boston restaurant in terms of quality of the menu, taste, service, and ambiance. The atmosphere was very old world-like making for an unbeatable romantic evening. The chef's seasonal tasting menu was immaculate, and the paired wines matched each dish perfectly. It took a little over 2 hours to finish dinner, yet was paced perfectly and made for great conversation. It didn't stop there, however, as their selection of dessert wines made choosing a bottle near impossible (until I noticed the Inniskillin ice wine, at which point the deal was done). I failed to mention anything about the service, but it can be summed up easily: their staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt. We're planning our next trip as soon as their winter tasting menu is ready to go.
Pros: Romantic, Easy parking, Best food in Boston
