I am so impressed with this young lady's knowledge of hair & hair color. I have lived in several large metro areas & had my hair cut, styled & colored by some of the best in the field & I must say, Dina Dimas is right there with them. She is a star in her own right & does amazing hair!!! She understands that different hair types need different types of cutting techniques. She listens intently on any concerns or ideas I have & then adds her professional knowledge for an always fresh look! I feel like a million bucks after I leave the salon & know that because of Dina's knowledge, my touch ups are not as often because the color stays longer, & cut stays fresh. The minute I leave Augusta Place Salon, my hair feels so refreshed and perfect all thanks to Dina Dimas. I have been going to Dina now for about 2 years and I travel all the way from Charlotte, NC. Its very hard to find someone who knows your hair type and style that would look good. Dina does am amazing job cutting my hair and I always get many compliments. I've been going to Dina Dimas for about 5 years now. I was always back and forth with some hairstylists, but the second I started going to Dina, my hair was perfect! Everytime I get my hair done by Dina, I don't think I've ever gotten so many compliments on it! She knows what to do, and does it well. If you are new to the salon and trying to find a new hairstylist, Dina is the best! She's always nice to her clients and cares about them as well! I love her! more

I've been to many salons around Greenville and Augusta Place is, by far the best. I've had my hair butchered too many times by inadequate stylist but this is never the case at Augusta Place. Most notably Dina. She is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and very professional. I even started to send my boyfriend to her. He used to go to places like Great Clips and come back looking like a drunk seven-year-old got a hold of some scissors and had 'playtime' with his hair. Dina does a wonderful job on his hair and even trims his beard. I HIGHLY recommend her! more

Augusta Place Salon is perfect in every way: it's hip and fun without being snooty, the service is professional and friendly but not stuffy or overbearing, and the stylists are skilled and personal, but never gossipy. It will only take about two visits for multiple people to recognize you and everyone is greeted as they walk in the door. more

I think that we all have those horror stories that we could share about bad waxing experiences and facials that left our skin looking worse then it did before even having one! But with Bethany at Augusta Place Salon this is something that you never have to worry about. She is a master at her job and takes so much time with you to find out what your concerns are. I swear, she can even make having your eyebrows waxed feel like a relaxing experience! Her facials are great, and the products that she uses and retails have worked wonders for my skin. And for the summer months, there's nothing like a good spray tan to make you feel beach ready all the time. Bethany is awesome about answering any questions that I have about maintaining my skin care regimen at home and always goes the extra mile to help you out. I have searched for an amazing esthetician in Greenville for several years. After my search I have finally found one. Bethany Hern at Augusta Place Salon is amazing. She is very thorough and really takes pride in her work. She really listened to my skin concerns, and together we formulated a routine specifically for me. After only a couple of visits with her, I have noticed a huge improvement in my skin. She uses Glo products, which are awesome. Very effective skin care at a very affordable price. She also offers airbrush tanning. If you are looking for a pick-me-up, an airbrush tan will do it: Instant glow! Since I started going to Bethany I have never been happier with my skin. I highly recommend her to everyone. I am extremely satisfied! more

I have been looking for a good fit in a salon since my teens and it took my until my 40s but this is the one. Melanie is amazing. She has done the most for me that any stylist has ever done, and she is interested in me as a person. The Keratin Complex treatment she applies is a huge time saver, and I would never have tried it if she hadn't recommended it but it has truly made my day so much easier! And I don't run from the rain anymore! My color is also the best it has ever been. Another nice thing - Melanie is not your typical stylist and her salon is not what I have found more often than not in that she and the other sylists do not seem to be totally consumed with looks, gossipy, sort of superficial and silly ( The last salon I went to, grown women my age repeatedly called each other sister friend about 50 times and gossiped continually during my 1 hour stay)- she is a professional, and a genuinely good and real person. Cannot recommend this place enough! more

I am new to town and didn't even know who to ask for a referral. I drove by Augusta Place one day and decided to call. They gave me an appointment with Jennette and she was fantastic!!! Friendly, professional and well trained, coming from Aveda Institute in Minneapolis. I asked her opinion for a new look and she gave me exactly what I needed. Have never had this good of an experience at a Hair Salon. Can't say enough about the rest of the Staff. Don't wait...call them NOW!!! more

I had been looking for a new stylist for quite some time. I was very pleased that Jeannette new exactly what to do with my hair. I was looking for a new look with my shoulder length hair. Whitney converted my hair into a masterpiece for my wedding. She is truly a magician when it comes to creating that something special with your hair. I had no idea what I wanted, so I gave Whitney leeway to do whatever she wanted. She made little flowers out of my hair across the back of my head and left the rest curly. It was absolutely beautiful. I happened to get married on the hottest day of the year in 2009....in an outdoor wedding (what was I thinking!). I danced and had a ball and my hair never fell. It looked amazing all night long. Whitney turned this ordinary girl into a princess for my wedding. I will highly recommend her to anyone who wants that special ""do"" for any special occasion.
