I found Laura about a year ago downtown at another salon. When I found out she was moving to Augusta Place Salon, I moved right along with her! She is a wonderful stylist and always leaves me feeling pleased with any style she does. She has a lot of versitality and artistic ideas. Plus, she is just a pleasure to talk to! more

Magan Hibbard 3/13/2012

If you are like me, once you find an amazing stylist you will follow her wherever she goes. I was devastated to learn that Magan Hibbard left Wisteria Salon, and Wisteria refused to tell me Magan's new salon name or location. After many calls, I have finally found her! She is now styling at Augusta Place Salon. This salon environment enhances the already amazing experience of having Magan work her magic with your hair. All former clients and anyone in search of that perfect stylist needs to visit Magan at her new salon! more

I highly recommend Laura! 3/12/2012

I live in the Charleston area and will drive up to Greenville in order to get my hair done by Laura. I'm trying to grow my hair out and Laura knew exactly how to cut it to make it feel like I wasn't still in that awkward stage of growth. I'm really pleased with her work! I also got a few highlights which were perfect! Go see her, she's the best! more

I have been to Augusta place twice now, and love it! So much energy in there, like the private feel you have with your stylist, but enjoy all the hub-bub around. Please go see Laura, she does a great job! Cuts and colors my hair with such expertise, and you will enjoy her company too. Enjoy! more

I have visited many barber shops and salons in my time, but Augusta Place Salon stands out. The people who work there are friendly in a way that makes you feel very welcomed. Laura has been cutting my hair for about 2 years and I have been very happy with her work. I am able to go in, tell her I want, and she will help me get the look I am seeking. more

Yeah for Katie! 2/1/2012

Trying to find a good stylist is the worst. You want someone that will listen to what you want but make suggestions to push you into something you might not have tried but end up loving. I spent years looking for that perfect balance and found Katie Payne at Augusta Place. She does wonders with my color and cut and recommends the products that will work well with my hair type. To top it all off, she never keeps me waiting past my appointment time and can wrap my hi-lights, cut and style up in less than two hrs. Yeah for Katie!!! more

Great Personal Service 9/27/2011

I have been going to the Augusta Place Salon for over six years now and they continue to improve in addition to treating me as if it were my first time there with each visit. That being said, I am also treated with the familiarity of a long standing client. The salon caters to more women than men, but as a man you don't feel out of place or overwhelmed by the atmosphere of a top notch ""salon"". Melanie, the owner, is awesome. She epitomizes the tone of the place with her professionalism and attitude. Plus she helps me immensely with my tangles! Great place with consistently great client service and attention. more

Amber is Amazing!!! 9/12/2011

I recently moved to the Greenville area and was at a loss for where to go to get my hair done. A person I met in passing who had fabulous hair told me about Augusta Place. I called and was able to get an appointment for the next day and had the best of luck landing Amber Carlton to do my hair!! My hair is highlighted blonde and needed maintenance ASAP!! She was able to take my damaged tresses and create something beautiful again. She also cut my hair in the way I had imagined in my head. She was able to give me suggestions on products to use in order to help with how dry my hair had become and even though they had run out of the shampoo I had wanted to purchase, she pumped some in a cup for me, that I am still using today, just so I would be able to keep my hair healthy. I would highly recommend Amber and I will continue to see her as my stylist. Thanks again Amber for everything!! more

Kelly-beyond possible comparison 8/25/2011

If Only I could give 10 stars I would but the only limit five. Kelly has made my life better by making me look gorgeous !!! I look forward to time with Kelly cause she creates a relaxing pleasant environment. She does wonders with my thin, fine hair. I've seen her do all ages from 5 to 85 and they all leave happy!! I love the way she works with other girls at the salon displaying awesome teamwork and, always puts others above self. She is awesome example of Christ to me. I love Kelly more

Melanie - What a lucky find ! 8/3/2011

I've previously lived in cities many times larger than Greenville with a great selection of skilled hairdressers and Melanie is one of the best I've ever found, anywhere. I now live 1 1/2 hours away from the Augusta Place Salon but am happy to make that drive to see her. Total strangers frequently stop me to ask where I get my hair done. Several neighbors have been so impressed that they now also make the 1 1/2 hour drive to see Melanie. Not only is she in the top echelon based on her skill, she's also extremely fun, giving and principled. I took an out-of-town friend to have her thin hair styled following years of chemo therapy. Melanie treated her with such respect, candor and skill. Afterward, my friend felt like a new person - absolutely thrilled and confident enough to go ""wig free"" for the first time in 5 years! Melanie performed magic that day. as she does many days. I feel lucky to have found her. more

Bethany Hern is THE BEST Esthetician in Greenville! 6/21/2011

I have been to most of the spas in Greenville, and Bethany Hern at Augusta Place Salon is by far the best esthetician around. Thanks to her, my skin looks the best it has ever looked. I have had many facials at other spas that were good but Bethany's facials are amazing! She is very efficient yet makes you feel so relaxed. I like that she ""gets the job done"" but also leaves you feeling pampered. My skin always glows after I leave. She always answers any questions I have. She makes you feel like you're talking to your best friend, your very knowledgeable best friend. Like most women, I don't look forward to being waxed. Somehow, Bethany even makes waxing as relaxing and pain free as possible. One of my favorite pick-me-ups is getting an airbrush tan. It only takes about 20 minutes, and I'm left with a beautiful golden glow. It never looks orange or fake. I always get compliments after I get an airbrush tan from Bethany. I've also had a body wrap, which I highly recommend. Bottom line, Bethany is great at her job. She's my skin care guru! more

Augusta Place--Kelly 6/4/2011

Kelly has been cutting and highlighting my hair for years. Even when I lived in New York, I would have her cut my hair when I was home for the holidays. She is personable, talented and reasonably priced. I trust her completely and will be having her do my hair for my wedding. Highly recommend! more

Augusta Place - the best 4/7/2011

I can't say enough good things about Melanie and the Augusta Place people. Melanie has been cutting my hair for over 25 years and never once have I considered going anywhere else. Everyone there is friendly and helpful and they all make you feel at home. Even though they cater heavily to women, any man would feel very comfortable there. I know I do. As time has passed, Melanie has always taken a personal interest in my style of cut. I have so much confidence in her opinion, when she determines it's time for a style change, I don't question her expertise. Whatever she thinks is and always has been fine with me. And thus far, I continue to be very pleased with the new cut style she suggests. If you are looking for a place and a person who will take genuine interest in how you look, give Melanie and the other stylists at Augusta Place a try. Before you know it, you will look back as I have and realize that 25 years may have gone by, but you will also notice that you are still being treated just like you did the first day you walked into her salon. They indeed appreciate my business and it shows. more

So Glad to Find a Great Salon 4/5/2011

Having just moved to Greenville from Orlando, I was really apprehensive about finding a salon to entrust with my very long, very thick crop of hair. My hair has never been easy to deal with, and I always remember that when I go in for a haircut... but that rarely stops the tears after I get a botched haircut. I got my haircut just a bit ago by Amber... and she did a GREAT job. I brought in a picture of a hairstyle I liked and she shaped it to my face, my hair type and the length I preferred. She was super friendly, as was everyone at the salon. She seemed completely at ease with what she was doing, but at the same time... she kept a professional eye out for things that weren't working as the haircut progressed. She even taught me a thing or two about styling! She was meticulous and friendly and I will absolutely be going back! more
