As a hobby musician I was looking for a source for quality gear, but most importantly a person with experience who could guide me in making good choices for my needs. My dealings with Frank Ventresca of AudioWorks in Milford, Connecticut have always been positive. He is generally available to take my call or if not, calls me back promptly. When gear needs to be ordered, he gets it into the mail to me quickly. I was looking for a Ketron 4 sound module which he carries and I was so impressed with his service that I ordered a Korg M3 from him as well. I will eventually be updating my Tyros 3 to a Tyros 4. Who will I go to for this?....You guessed it - AUDIOWORKS! more

I could not believe how great these guys were and how they kept me informed right up to delivery of my product. They let me know where I was on the list for the item and they had it to me in quicker time than I could imagine even with the short delay from Yamaha. I still to this day am the only one in the major California area who has the TYROS4 and even the major retailer DO NOT have it in the stores yet and will not for a couple of months What can I say From Frank to Dave, just great to work with. If they don't have something in stock they call you back and let you know. That is one reason I like them they try not to make promises that they have no control over and if something comes up, they let you know ASAP which allows you alternatives to take. I have recommended several friends to them and will continue based on price and SERVICE. They can not be beat. I have dealt with the large retailers in Los Angeles, the guitar centers, Sam Ashes, etc. The guys at Audiworks take a back seat to no one. If you want service and a great price this is the price. I would and will recommend them to anyone and I live in California. That has to say something about them. more

I emailed Frank about my interest in the Yamaha Keyboard and he quickly replied with the information I needed. Placed order on Thursday the 17th and had my Tyros4 the next Friday in Arizona, as promised. Enjoying my purchase everyday at a very good price. Thanks Frank. more

Frank came through again, besides great prices. Got my T4 speakers right on time of date it said. Frank got my T4 in his shop, and he went out with family, he told his workers to ship my T4. his store got right on it and was shipped out right away. Will get my T4 in a few days. WOW what service. I was referred to AudioWorks by several members of the online music forums. All spoke of AudioWorks highly, and boy!!........Were they right! I haven't yet seen a lower price on the Yamaha Tyros4 I purchased. The service was excellent and their communications with me were right on every step of the sale. Everything promised was delivered, and they were very friendly and knowledgable too. If I ever travel to their part of the country I certainly would like to meet the whole staff. I'm sure I will use them again and again!! more

Let's face it, when you purchase an expesive item without knowledge of the company, you hope that everything works out ok. Nothing scares you like a bad experience. In the case of Audioworks I had a feeling right from the start that this was going to be at least an ok experience. I was quoted a great price, the service was wonderful, and the item was delivered ahead of schedule. Dealing with them has been more than a pleasure, and I would recommend them to everyone. Frankie is not just a musician that can understand our needs, but he is: a Super Nice Guy, treats you like family(in the best way), he reply to your questions in the quickest time, he always tells you how it is. I have had extensive experience with AudioWorks. I have purchased probably 6 or 7 major pieces of electronics from them, including 3 or 4 flat screen televisions, 2 surround sound systems, 2 wireless remote controls for all of the components, and a number of other smaller PC-related items. Not only have I purchased the hardware from AudioWorks, they have also been involved in installing those systems in my house. They were fairly sophisticated systems. The folks there are always very friendly. They are also extremely professional and have a large knowledge base. I find myself calling around once a month with some kind of question related to the workings of the system, or something I think I may have done to change the control features. They are always willing to take time out to diagnose the situation remotely. If there is an issue they can't figure out over the phone, which rarely happens, they either come out or tell me to bring it in immediately. It is a very positive experience even after the sale.
