Audio Visions South

Audio Visions is an exceptional retailer of high end audio and video products. George Liu, owner, is always kind and courteous whenever I visit. Even though I am only a low volume "piece by piece" customer, George always treats me as if I were his best customer. In fact, all the employees treat me the same. Customer service is obviously a high priority with George and the staff. In one instance, George ordered two expensive pairs of speakers so that I could listen and choose the pair I prefered and with no obligation to purchase anything. How fortunate I am to have Audio Visions as a source of high quality equipment. For this reason, I travel 35 miles from my home to see George, the Staff and the equipment. Also, I want to thank George for the special price on the B and W speakers. I am very pleased with them. I hope to visit everyone at Audio Visions again in the near future. I recently got into upgrading my system. I never knew how good music could sound, until I got in touch with Audio Visions South. Chris answered all my questions, and got me completely set up with the system that worked best for my needs. I'm now a regular customer, and am slowly upgrading my entire system. AVS has installed two systems for me; my previous home in 2004 and our new home in 2009. Both experiences were excellent from design, through install, and follow up service. I am about as meticulous as they come, so if they can keep me happy, I am sure they can keep anyone happy. Earlier this year we designed the system for our new house. Just as we were getting ready to order the components, Dave found out that the manufacturer was coming out with a newer product with better technology. They could have easily installed the system that we agreed upon and moved on to the next job. Instead Dave contacted me immediately and suggested that we redesign the system and wait the 4-6 weeks for the newer technology. Since this was the first time that they installed this particular piece of equipment, they had the factory rep at my house for a full day to oversee the project. I have always felt that they have gone out of their way to do what's best for me and this is just another example. The installers and service techs are all top notch. They are very friendly and professional. I have no concerns with them working in my home. They are quick to respond and have gone above and beyond (like dropping off a loaner DVD player on Christmas Eve so that my daughter had something to watch during the holidays). I have been buying all of my audio video equipment from Audio Visions since 1991 and simply will not go anywhere else. You may save a few dollars but they will quickly be forgotten with marginal uncaring service that you get from the big box stores. more

I have had Audio Research tubed equipment for years and am very happy that AVS is now an ARC dealer. I will be getting a set of Wilson speakers soon that I auditioned in George's home with David's set up. They sounded incredible. I can't wait for delivery when I return to Florida soon. I also use Trasparent cables. I'm a critical, difficult customer and have been treated very respectfully and well by David & George. I love music and gthey arre helping me. more

I have had several shopping experiences with AVS over the past 2 years. In that time I have purchased a Krell preamp and a set of Wilson speakers which I then upgraded with a new Krell preamp and another set of Wilson speakers ~2 years later. During that time I also purchased an inside and outside music server distribution system and several sets of in-ceiling speakers from Speaker Craft and B&W which AVS installed for me. The excellent, patient and knowledgeable advice I received when selecting my purchases I have never seen equalled. The installers were professional, polite and clean and did an excellent job. The post installation and delivery support has also been excellent. I will definitely be returning to AVS for my future A-V needs and will be consulting them when I design our new home in a few years. Dave Liu and George Liu are true experts and professionals. I am not a giant customer, but AV South always treated me like I was their best customer. They explained everything in simple terms that I could understand. They sold me the RIGHT products for the design of my house not the most expensive or latest fad. I will buy from them for the rest of my life. I am very happy with their install and sales. Audio Visions South is the only hi-fi shop in the area that carries true hi-fi lines of equipment at a retail level. They are very knowledgeable, good at what they do, and an excellent group of people to work with. I have been purchasing equipment from them over the last 3 or 4 years and have been absolutely satisfied with everything. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is going to take the plunge into purchasing high-end audio equipment. The advice and input that you get from the guys at Audio Visions South is almost like a frill. However, it is worth every dime. They know a lot about what they do and, if you are willing to listen, you can learn about the business as well as what to get for your money. I called an hour before the store opened on a Tuesday and got a call back as soon as they were open. I explained what was going on with my tv and Dave at Audio Vision South got right on the problem. Stopped by Audio Visions South while researching a new sound system. Chris took his time showing me various levels of equipment and testing them. Not cheap but he did a good job of working with me to get what I wanted close to my price range. Installation was quick, professional and the tutorial was effective. Best of all is the service i've gotten since installation. Any time i have a question, i can call the store and get an answer. Chris has even stopped by the house to fix a problem we couldn't diagnose over the phone. I recommend these guys. more

i stopped in today to buy some albums......yes that is right albums......dsvve liu and i sat down and listened to music for 30 minutes......now i am going home to figure out where i can put a music system in my home.....i highly recommend visiting avs.........if anything....you will redicover your love for music\r \r more
