When I called this number all I got was a "Hello." Nothing that identified this was the proper place until I asked twice if it was Audio Video Elec. to which this person replied "Yes!?" as to suggest I should already know this. Further I explained that my Samsung LCD had quit turning on and asked for an estimate. There could be no estimate made until I brought it in and they looked at it for $75. He also stated that he could come by and look at it at home and fix it there but there would be a fee for the person coming out, a fee to figure out what's wrong, an hourly rate to fix it and obviously the price of the part. Well all those fees combined added up to half of the price of the TV when I purchased it on sale and that's before the cost of the part. This person wouldn't take off the trouble shooting fee if I chose to fix it or work with me at all. The bottom line is this guy treats people like morons for not having any idea about TV repair. He did say that if I wanted to buy a new TV and I was going to throw mine away that he'd come take it. Hahaha! Yeah Right! No way buddy. I bought a new TV and sold the broken one to a pawn shop. Don't bother calling these people, he'll waste your time.
