Audio Itch

My wife and I recently purchased a 2008 Toyota Sequoia. I called the Audio Itch and spoke with Louis, who was very patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. The installation of our navigation head unit and overhead DVD was completed on time with no problems/issues. Louis then took the time to explain the operation of each, which was well beyond what I had expected. I have recommended this shop to co-workers in the past, and they have been extremely satisfied. My system i had installed in orlando wasnt working so i took it to audio itch and they fixed it. While waiting i sat in their home theater room. It is like a little movie theater in there. Next time im bringing popcorn. When I upgrade my den im having them do it. more

My new navigation screen is great. After spending too much time and gas looking all over town I went to audio itch and had them install a dvd/navigation screen. It looks great and sounds clean. I wish I would have just went there first. Pros: Good Products Cons: Should have went there first more

when you recieve a ""lifetime"" warranty for window film from any company, it is through the manufacturer. If that manufacturer goes out of business and can no longer warranty the film, how is the company suppose to warranty the film? Are they suppose to eat all the warranties that come back? By offering it at half price they were working with you, they still have to supply film, pay someone to put it on, basically half price means they break even. more

I had my car tinted in 1999. Recently, I went back to have the back window re-tinted because the film was separating. The receipt clearly states ""Lifetime Warranty"". They came up with some BS excuse about the film company being out of business so they would not honor their warranty and changed me $40. I have had 3 cars tinted there but will never return. Thei window tint company that manufactured the product used on my car is out of business, and Audio Itch wont honor the warranty that I was given at the time of purchase. This was the 4th car I had tinted by them, and have had 3 alarms installed. They will replace the defective tint and only charge me half the cost. Wow! How lucky am I? This was my third car I had window tinted from these guys, they are fast, price is good\r and the staff is easy to deal with. I highly recommend these folks for tint or stereo. more

I went in for a tint on my new car and they told me that they could do it right then and there! So, i waited inside and i saw their home theater room. After i was talking with the manager, he recommended a couple of ideas to me and did not even pressure me into buying anything. A week later, i went back in and scheduled for someone to come and install surround sound for my new tv and It was the manager that came! He was very professional and surprisingly quick. I needed some work preformed on my car, and I heard from a friend of mine that she visited Audio Itch, and she had a great experience, so she told me to go to them. So I did, and I couldn?t tell you how wonderful my visit was. The management and sales people where very knowledgeable to what my needs were, and after all said and done, my radio sounded great, there was no mess to clean up, and telling everyone what I paid for everything, they couldn?t believe it. Horrible service and I was ripped off by these criminals. They promised to be able to do an install but when it came time to do the work after saying they could do it they charged me $150.00 to tell me it could not be done. Stay away from this place! As another member quoted they are crooks and will take you when they can. Buyer beware! Go to CC or BB because they will stand by the work they do. Here they just try and rip you off. They told me that the charge for my installation would be $50.00 per hour. The guy who TRIED to do the install said he worked on it for 2 hours and they wanted to charge me $300.00. The guy installed my bluetooth and XM before touching the head unit and then stated the head unit would not fit and he wanted to charge me another $300.00 for a trim fix to my dash. The guy only worked 2 hours at this point and I was up to $600.00. Why would they not confirm the stereo fit before doing anything! Then they charged me $125.00 for installing the 2 things they had to remove because I did not have a head unit to go with them. Not to mention when they uninstalled everything they should have not installed in the first place if they new what they had been doing, everything was just tossed in my trunk for me to try and figure out. I had three pieces with a thousand wires that where a mess. My air did not work when I left and they had been rude like I was trying to rip them off... AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!! Honestly, if something goes wrong it is your fault and you will pay. Go to Best Buy or Circuit City where they will consult with you prior to RIPPING you off for doing nothing. although their prices are decent, my car had all of 250 miles on it and was spotless when i took it to them. i had to scrub black stains off my rear seats, every threshhold in the car and all the door panels. i don't think they care about keeping a customers car in the same condition as it was in when it arrived. at the very least they should put down floor mats and/or seat covers if they are going to let thier techs be dirty enought to leave behind stains. I will not be using them again unless it is to fullfill my warranty. Buzz-off may be more expensive but at least they treated my vehicle with respect. I have been going to Audio Itch for over ten years now. I am always greeted immeditely and never feel pressured from the salespeople. They have a friendly and extremely knowledgable staff. They carry the best products around like JL Audio and Boston Acoustics, but at very affordable prices (usually well below retail) I recommend them to anyone with any budget! Pros: Product line, staff, install time, open Sundays Cons: none more

I've been to this place a couple times now, the sales guys inside and the manager/managers are all nice and sociable. They work with you on your specific needs. But the installers in my opinion do only work of normal or average quality. The installers definatly have never attempted to talk with me and explain the work they did and did not attempt to clean my vehicle out of all the debris from the installation. Overall I'd still recommend Audio itch but try to catch them on a slow day. Pros: catering to needs, timely, speed Cons: selection, customer service more

The Audio Itch has some of the best product and prices in the Tampa Bay area, friendly salespeople, and a willingness to work with you to get you into the right product. A+, would recommend to anyone. more
