I have been having Electrolysis done with Carol for almost a year now and she has the best service and equipment that I have ever experienced. I tried two other places before going to her and she is by far the best! She is professional, courteous, and gets results. Her equipment is more advanced than the other places i have gone to and she always uses a new sterile probe everytime I visit, and I have never had one bad experience at her salon. I also found out that she does eyelash extensions and I tried her and they were so amazing. She has a special technique where she places each eyelash on indvidually unlike the last place I went to that just globbed them on. This place is the best you won't be dissapointed! more

Carol is probably one of the best ""electrology"" professionals in the area. She has owned and operated this office for years, studies continuously and is a skin care therapist as well. She carries some unique products like the Blinc eyeliner and mascara, Dermalogica skincare line at reasonable prices. Her knowledge of skin health, hormone and environmental effects are readily shared and easily understood.\r I have been seeing her for years and still travel from Lynnwood for a touch-up and the opportunity to benefit from Carol’s practiced hand and incredibly thoughtful advice. I have been seeing Carol for almost a year for Electrolysis. Everything was going smoothly until my last appt 16 days ago. Carol worked on some hairs on my upper lip...it was more painful than usual. After I left the swelling became huge..red and welted. After a few days swelling was still not going down and redness was still prominent. Lines around the swollen areas started developing which was completely devastating. The areas were numb, itchy and still continue to be numb in areas. I started getting in contact with Carol and sending pics of what was happening. Discussed with her my fear of being over treated and collagen loss that can happen because of it. She barely responded most of the time and finally had me come in for a moisture treatment after 15 days. She continues to deny that the area was over treated..says my skin just reacted and we don't know why. I have been doing electrolysis for almost 2 years and I have never had 1 issue until 16 days ago. Carol has said things to me in person about my electrolysis and then denied them in a text. To date the area is healing..but is still swollen at the corners of my mouth..there are lines and red dots that I hope will go away when everything heals. No one should have this after 16 days and this is not normal. It's been very stressful. I am seeing a Dermatologist to see what is going on with the areas. I feel Carol could have handled things better. \r \r *update* 1/25/14 As the swelling at the corners of my mouth are subsiding, the red dots are now turning into holes and there are stretched scars appearing. I texted Carol some pics of my concerns and how upset I was and how I couldn't stop crying. She then had her husband call me and ask me what they could do to rectify the situation..then in the same sentence says that I signed a release and there is nothing more they can do for me. He said to stop texting as I was harassing Carol. Carol is the one who started the texting process...which I thought was strange for a business. She was happy with me sending pics in the beginning..then that changed as the problems continued. Carols last text to me denied anything being wrong with my skin and said everything was normal. This is not what she said to me verbally. In fact she went into detail about how she consulted another Electrologist to discuss my skin issues from this treatment.\r \r \r *update* 1/31/14 Saw the Dermatologist today..she says the areas are still swollen..heat must have been up to high and skin was traumatized. Prescribed a hydrocortisone cre to try and bring swelling down. She is hoping it will resolve on its on, but if it doesn't within 2 weeks I will see a Dermotologist that specializes in skin issues with the face. It's been 22 days and there is still swelling, red marks and holes. \r more

As it was my very first waxing experience...I felt very comfortable with Carol. She was very sweet and made the whole experience enjoyable. They treatment room was warm and clean. I would definitely recommend Auburn Skin care to my friends and I will surely be there again soon. more

Clean and comfortable environment and Carol is the best. I was so nervous and had a lot of anxiety about having a full Brazilian wax, but Carol made me feel comfortable and before I knew it I was relaxed and actually having an enjoyable conversation through the entire process. Carol is absolutely the best Eye Lash technician I have found. Even though the Salon is in her home, the environment is clean and quiet. I found her after getting a bad full set of Eye Lash Extensions from a federal way salon. She gently and patiently removed that bad lashes over a course of a few visits and applied ""properly"" a new set. I love the way they look and wear! I highly recommend! more

Carol is the only person I will go to for my brow waxing/shaping and eyelask extension. Her place is always so clean and she is so professional. Her personality is very pleasant to be around. She takes her work very serious and always makes you feel good about yourself. But then after she is finished, you DO look good!! She was referred to me by a friend and am glad I met her! more

Carol is great! I went to her for my first Brazilian and was very happy. Yes it's a wax so it hurts, but she makes the process as comfortable as possible. The ""wax"" she uses is a little different than traditional waxes. I liked how ""clean"" everything looked afterward. \r I will never shave that area again and will continue to get waxed with Carol. Carol is the best! Very friendly and clean, always feel very welcome. She consistently does a wonderful job. My favorite are the lashes, they always look so pretty. I've seen other lashes by other people and am not impressed, I wouldn't go anywhere else but Carol. I encourage everyone to at least try them once and then you'll be hooked. I wanted to get individual eyelashes done one time for a high school reunion 2 1/2 years ago, and I found Carol on the internet. At that time, she was the only one in my area offering the service. I got hooked on the eyelashes (and Carol) immediately, and have been with her ever since. Other eyelash salons have cropped up in the area since then, but experience and technique are very important with eyelashes, and nobody does them better than Carol. She's been a successful business owner for many years, is constantly focused on improving her products and services, and she is always busy. I am not one to write reviews… but Carol was no amazing, I just had to let everyone know! I had a Brazilian wax done. I have had them done before, and it has always been a horrifying experience at previous places I have gone too. I was debating on ever getting one again, as the previous experience was the worst. I decided to try Auburn Electrology Skin, and am so glad I did. Everything is extremely clean, sterile environment, Carol does NOT double dip into the wax as some other spas do. This was the best waxing experience I have ever had, the Brazilian was almost painless, I didn’t even cringe, or clench my teeth. It really was awesome! Carol is truly a master at her field! She made me feel so comfortable and I felt like I knew her for years! Just unbelievable amazing! I recommend her to everyone! If I moved, I would even commute and drive extra to see her, she really is that good! Pros: Clean,no pain and very friendly more

She was very professional, fit me in at the last minute. Her no scream cream was great. I have had a brazillian before, but it was not done as well as this one. I was also impressed with how friendly she was. Everything was very clean as well. The wax really didnt hurt!! Pros: GREAT JOB more

PROFESSIONALISM says it all.\r My wife convinced me to give waxing a try and needless to say I was a little nervous before I got to AESNC.\r A thoroughly professional and relaxing atmosphere put me at ease as soon as I walked in the door.\r Actually Carol put me at ease BEFORE I got there with the information she provided when I contacted her through her web-site.\r Carol recommended (and I took her advice, thankfully) No Scream Cream, which made the experience at worst ""Easily Bearable"". \r Actually it wasn't nearly as bad as I had heard it made out to be. If you are looking for a comfortable, relaxing spa experience - look no further. Carol is friendy and professional; she will treat you as if she has known you for years. And this is a home spa, which I really like. I get electrology treatments, but will be trying some of her other services as well. I switched to Auburn Electroloy, Skin & Nail Care from another business and have never looked back. I would recommend AESNC to my friends and anyone else looking for excellent spa services. more

I was referred to Carol over two year ago, and haven't stopped going to visit her... Carol is simply the BEST!!\r \r I started with a Brazilian before going on a vacation, and now I go in for that, as well as other services... such as her terrific Facials!! My skin has NEVER looked this good, she does ""magic"" with my pores. The fine lines have disappeared and my skin is so smooth, that my husband has made comments about how silky my face looks and feels weeks after the treatments have been performed. In my book that is the best compliment that can be given!!\r \r Carol has a GREAT sense of-humor and is very personable.
