Kevin & Barry,\r \r Thank you for make my mother-in-law’s 90th Birthday so special. It worked out perfectly and everyone raved about the food. It was delicious and Nick was FABULOUS! Keep him around. He was great, my family loved him. I did not have to worry about anything and Nick truly made the day enjoyable for me so that I could talk with family we never get to see.\r \r Evan out did himself on the food, the antipasto was a huge HIT and they loved it! I have some pictures of it and will send it. Nick attention to detail made the antipasto platter look like a feast for a king. I cannot say what was the best because it was all so good! The pistachio encrusted chicken was to die for, the phyllo wrapped blue cheese, brandy and orange – oh my gosh soooooo good! The stuffed mushrooms were the best my husband ever had (and he is a chef) and the pasta was so good. It worked out perfectly having the food come fresh and then Nick did his magic and cooked them up. \r \r The pink vodka/sausage pasta ---- keep the recipe it is so heavenly and I don’t even like sausage! The crème fraiche on the butternut squash ravioli’s went so quickly I think they licked the bowl clean! \r \r Thank you so much for making this a special day for our family!\r more

My wedding was on March 21, 2009 and I started working with Barry at Atomic about one year prior. To start off, the food was amazing-Evan, our chef, made the most delicious stuffed mushrooms, crab rangoon, chicken, lobster ravioli, and clam chowder...we are still getting compliments from our guests. He also threw in some clamcakes for free because he had leftover batter from another event the day before. This was an awesome surprise. Second, the price was significantly cheaper than other catering companies that we looked into-clearly, without sacrificing the quality of food or service. Third, Barry Bowman was great to work with. Everything was set up and served just as I had wanted...and when there was a small glitch (the venue did not have enough chairs for the ceremony outside), Barry asked my husband, ""What do you want us to do. I'll make it happen."" Throughout the whole planning process, Barry was in constant contact with myself and the other vendors involved in the event. Mark, our party planner, was also attentive to us and easy to work with on the day of our wedding. I could go on and on about how happy I am with choosing Atomic catering. I cannot wait until I have another event which needs catering so that I can work with Barry and Atomic again!!! Pros: awesome food, great value more

I really cannot say enough good things about Atomic Catering. They did a wonderful job with my wedding from start to finish. The food at my wedding was amazing and the suggestions that Barry and Kevin gave me with the food and decor were great! I researched and met with many of the RI caterers before choosing Atomic. It is true that Atomic offered the best pricing, but I chose them based on the quality of food, service, and reputation. As for the bad reviews below, I seem to think that may be one ""bridezilla"" posing as different brides to give Atomic a bad rep for whatever reason. From my experience and things I have heard from other people who have used Atomic, I find the negative things written below hard to believe. Pros: Wonderful food and service...reasonable price more

Atomic provided our guests with a great experience. The sliders, mini french fries and root beer floats were well received by all of our guests. Very courteous servers as well. more

I disagree with the other reviews Atomic Catering did my Wedding in Sept2008. They did amazing job, the decor was wonder and the food was absolutely amazing. The Staff was very polite and extremely helpful. The sales rep Barry was outstanding and put up with a godzilla Bride. A+++++++++ Pros: Will make any menu work more

atomic completely botched a wedding at my house this summer 2008. wrong booze, no cake, late rentals, unprofessional attitude, no apology, no refund. one star is one too many more

My wedding was June 28th and my experience was less than pleasant. There was no wedding cake, the beer and wine we had printed on menu cards was not what they brought so my husband did not have his favorite beer. The party planner was unorganized and had no idea how the set up the tables. My sister and my hired florist stayed to set up a floor plan. The worst was how I was treated after the event. When I called to discuss the problems I was treated rudely and unprofessionally. I work in customer service and would never treat a customer that way or it would be my job. Pros: Started out nice, that's why I hired them Cons: Unprofessional and rude more

The service was not good, the servers needed to be told to clean up between appetizers and the main course. The food was luke warm. The chicken was tough, the roasted potatoes and the green beans were over cooked and mushy. We also had a pasta dish which was burned and served luke warm. Many guests complained that the coffee was not hot and the cake was from Stop and Shop. We spent a lot of money for this important event and we were very disappointed. No one from the company bothered to respond to my concerns after the event. Other concerns: All the extra food was thrown away, we paid for 3 staff members and only 2 were at the party, the staff were very young and unfriendly. We did not do our homework when hiring this caterer and really paid the price. more
