Atlantis 2010

I'm a regular customer of this club and since Jan 2010 this place has turn around 180 degrees, before was boring, low class, unfriendly and overpriced to be in queens, but now the whole story has change for good, since 2010 club atlantis get in their guest list pretty much anytime we want, the quality of their image is impressive, seems like a movie production when someone has a b-day party there, the staff is supreme and extremely friendly but there are the eternal problems which are the Security guys are always an issue, ... but overall Club atlantis has change for good and Im so happy for it... there is not other place like that... \r Went tothe Atlantis nightclub for a friends B+Day party. It is a gay nightclub. Overall, we had a great time we were in the back in the reserved room which has a comfortable western theme setting. Enough space to dance and the bar stools are horse saddles. The bartenders are also easy on the eyes. Good music there was a mix of techno, pop, salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia, etc. Friendly environment. They have live shows in the main room. Fantastic performers. \r \r Cons: Security. Their was a guest list set up but the security guard could not find any of us on the list. Had to point out the names on the list to him for him to finally find it. We had to spell out names and repeat them to him multiple times and he would still not get it. At the end of the night security was also rude to a couple of guys. He pushed or escorted three people out without coats outside in the cold. Aggressive and violent towards customers.\r \r Coat check. Misplaced coats. Confusion with lost tickets. It became ugly. \r \r Overall, the atmosphere and the people are fun. Would recommend. \r Most within our group stayed till closing time.\r But watch out for security and keep your coat tickets tucked away in a safe place.\r more
