We had a complicated job including AC, furnace, new powder room and kitchen sink. The plumbing was the biggest part of the total construction job. And they were on top of all of all of it! The powder room, in particular was complicated. So when I say ""thoughtful,"" I mean that they really had to THINK about the best way to accomplish what I wanted. It is perfect. AND when there were pipes to run in the basement.. *I* got to say where they went.. which was not necessarily what was easiest for them! This service was part of a granite countertop job. We went with the plumbing compnay recommended by the granite supplier/installer because we thought it would be better coordinated. The first employee was very knowledgable, but he was not doing our job. He instructed other employees on what needed to be done and left. The employees who worked our job had to go twice to get supplies and seemed to need an exorbitant amount f time to ""think"" though what needed to be done. This was a simple sink reconnect (garbage disposer, etc.) In the end I wish we had just had our own plumber come and do the work. Atlantic Mechanical has performed many times at my house for plumbing and HVAC and everything has been great. They installed a tankless water heater for us and its great, endless hot water. I had to place an emergency call with Atlantic Mechanical. I explained over the phone in details og the problem. Next day two plumbers arrived but they did not have all the necessary parts. They were not prepared to deal with the leaking pipes and changing the velvles. They rescheduled the service and promised to write a complete report so that another plumber would arrive well prepared for the job. The other tech came again without the parts. He did a very average job, did not change the velvles, left lot of grease all over my bathroom but most important the new faucet he installed does not allow me to control the intensity of the water and every time I opne it I get a very loud whistling sound that could be heard even in the kitchen. The plumber said the sound was caused by the air accumulated in the pipes and should go away eventually. It has been a week but the sound is not going away. I would not recommend this company to my family or friends. Cons: poor job quality, high price more
