I went in for a Toyota Prius at Atlanta Used Cars and they had the lowest price for a Prius in the area so I thought I would head over there and check it out. The salesman (Zach) had already gotten the car ready for the appointment which was fantastic. However, there was a certain vibration in the car and I was not too comfortable purchasing this specific car. I looked at 3 other cars, one had to be jumped, the other was dirty, and the last was probably the best.. ended up buying a different Prius instead of the one intended on buying. I will say that some of their cars do look a bit scary, but they have some really nice ones like the one I bought. Just be careful and ask for a carfax. Zach was pretty open about what was junk and what wasn't, he even helped drive my car back home. Financing was normal, not the best rates, and not the worst. overall, I am happy with my experience, and would consider buying a car from them again if i can get a good deal again more

I have been looking for a new car for a few weeks; I went to AUC and was warmly greeted by Ken Vinyard. There was no pressure wit the sale and we were even encouraged to keep looking at cars on the lot to be sure we found the car we wanted. We left out with a new mini van for my wife. Imagine finally having a car, low mileage, looks great... then BAM, 4 days later it totally shuts down and won't run. It had the so called clean carfax, low mileage (25k!!), looked great. Hmm, what's the story? Oh, they don't warranty the cars, sold as is. They IMPLIED that it was great. more

We purchase a 2 year old vehicle with 22,000 miles. We found the car via an on-line search and liked the price, year and mileage. When we went to look at the car there were some cosmetic issues with the interior. More than the average 2 year old car, but not any major scratches. The Carfax had a good history of the car. We did get a 100,000 extended warranty through our financial agency. We brought our two kids to the family friendly company while we test drove and purchased the vehicle. The atmosphere was very comfortable for our kids. Not a lot of extra parking. In all we had a good experience. more

Keep in mind this company buys nothing but junk cars from auctions. They show you the carfax which is clean most of the time but what they dont show you is auto check report which is like carfax but much better and reports all issues. 95% of the car lot is unibody and or frame damage. I bought a vehicle from them with a clean report for 20k and 12 mos. later went to trade it in at another dealer and they offered me 6k and said my car had frame damage and I also could not get refinanced due to the damage. There excuse was they dint know and come to find out legaly the auction must announce any body damage. Come to find out my car had 20k front end damage. I have talked to big local dealers and they say every used car they get from auc for repairs is nothing but a nightmare. Trust me there is a big reason why they sale the same cars cheapers than other places because they are all junk.
