Great facility and equipment but the qualify of the staff was very disappointing. They have many 15 year olds teaching classes and they're clearly not certified. It could work for very small kids who are just coming for fun but I would not recommend it otherwise. I would not trust these young teenagers about keeping the kids safe when they're doing more advanced skills. This facility has potential but I would never come back unless they decide to hire some legit instructors. If you look at their website, their staff list is all a bunch of young, inexperienced instructors. This should be a red flag. more

It's a shame no pun intended that Mr. DeFranco and his ""silent"" partner Michelle Nardone have sunk to a new low to try to write reviews about Athletic Egde and the owners! Mr deFranco is an untalented thief from a long line of thieves and his partner is a low life housewife looking to make a buck so she doesn't have to go off welfare and get a job! The staff at AE is amazing and talented my child has learned so much there and looks foward to going every week to class they are honest hard working women ! Bravo to them and the mothers who stood up to these two thieves what those trash forget is that a judgement is good for 20 yrs so Mr De Franco instead of writing lies on citysearch maybe you should try mcdonalds for a job so you could pay your debts cause you days being around children are over you and Trash Nardone are very lucky Fox 5 didn't air the other allegiations but again Fox 5 does extensive research and its legal department only aired FACTS!!!!!!!!!!!! you and Michelle Nardone should go back under the rocks you came out of !!!!!!! youboth have done enough damage to a decent hardworking people like the owners of AE and the families of the girls you beat out of money Staten Island is very small Michelle Nardone does alot fo talking and even the mothers at"" her dance school as she calles it "" are won to her being a thief and a liar !!!!!!!!!!! Well Obviously the one bad comment (James Defranco) is from the one person who was spot lighted on Fox 5 SHame Shame Shame for being the one who owes everyone on Staten Island Tons of Money & it is blatantly obvious that the animosity & hostility this one person hold to the gym goes much deeper. This is stickily him trying to make a person vendetta against a well established company whom all have come to love !, My Daughter has been there for 7 years and loves it!, she has progressed through her years as she started off a beginner who didn't know how to do a forward roll to now competing gymnastics not only as her sport outside of school she has now started on her high school team !, the staff over at athletic edge does nothing more then pay attention to detail in order to guarantee that your child is getting the best education possible!!!, & for his remark about kids teaching kids ! They have staff members older then you Mr. Defranco so in that case you are shooting your self in the foot because if you consider a 23, 24, 25 year old a child then you just proved exactly why you are no longer coaching any cheerleading teams because the parents didn't want there children ages 5 - 18 being taught by a child like you !. I would recommend this facility to everyone & truly do think it is the best place for you to bring your children, All staff works with you to get the best results for your child & all administrative staff is always there to help you. If your child is interested in Gymnastics this is the only place I recommend! more

In response to James DeFranco....Honestly I hope this really isnt you...because everyone in Staten Island KNOWS this story, after all Staten Island is very small! Anyone who doubts this facility just needs to go to Fox 5 Shame on you. Channel 5 does deep investigation before airing ANYTHING and its legal department goes thru it with a fine tooth comb. I know the owners of this gym. There is a reason it has been so successful and has even recently expanded. Its because it is an amazing facility, and total opposite of what the above post states. more

THIS IS THE SMELLIEST MOST DISGUSING FACILITY ON STATEN ISLAND. THE 3 WOMEN OWNERS ARE LIARS AND SCAM ARTISTS. ALL TEACHERS ARE NOT CERTIFIED...IT IS KIDS TEACHING KIDS ..REALLY THE PLACE HAS BOUT 4-6 ICHES OF DUST UNER TRAMPOLINE AND I KNOW FOR A FACT THEY HAVE HAD ALOT OF FLOODS UNDER TRAMPOLINE AND MOLD IS ALL OVER THE PLACE. ONE OWNER IS SLEEPING WITH A BI-SEXUAL EMPLOYEE ...U SHOULD ONLY KNOW THE LIES AND SCAMS RUN FROM THAT PLACE. ....OH AND ONE OWNERS HUSBAND THINKS HE IS DONNIE BRASCO ..HE IS A BIGGER LOSER AND OWES EVERYONE ON STATEN ISLAND MONEY!! more
