Victory's instructors do a great job of teaching kids and students of all ages focus, respect and how to be great Black Belts. Anyone who thinks that the Victory Black Belts don't know anything should watch the variety of very advanced techniques including spinning hook kicks, jumping sidekicks, breaking, sparring, etc. The Demo Teams allow even the students to demonstrate very complicated techniques. \r \r The highly effective self defense techniques, which may save a child's life someday, are incorporated into teaching at every level. My grandson is rapidly developing his skills and thriving at Victory. I would highly recommend this school to anyone. more

I would have to say try it for yourself and don't always believe the reviews you see on here. My son has been going to Victory Martial arts for over two years transferring from another karate school in Keizer, Oregon. I have never been happier since I have been here. My son has ADHD and is on medication yet still has achieved so much since being here. He is very confident, shows respect to everyone he encounters no matter where he is. His achievements in school are wonderful. He was on honor roll all last year in school. His teachers comment on how he is kind, respectful and always willing to help others and greet new students. He has very good self esteem and shows a lot of self control. He has learned to be a leader in life and not to follow others who may be taking the wrong path in life such as bullying. He has learned to be aware of his surroundings and how to defend himself if he ever needed to. Signing the 3 year contract for my son has made him accountable for something. Knowing he has a commitment to at least attend 2 classes a week. My son makes that commitment and always wants to go more then just two days a week. No matter if I am at Victory or any other karate school you still have to pay the fees to advance to the next belt. I paid the same fees at the karate school in Oregon. Mr Von Schmeling has been a great instructor and roll model for my son. Living in Florida I have no family here and being a part of Victory has made it so much nicer as they make you feel like a part of their family. I LOVE VICTORY. more

I put my son in karate thinking it would be good, yes the exercise is good for him, but its a scam. All they want is money everytime you turn around they make you buy something that is manditory. after paying a large amount up front to sign up they continue to nickle & dime you to death. Your buying belts for your kids ever 2 months, I dont see how these kids excell in belt ranks when they cant really do the martial arts things or a simple pushup. They just go with the motions. I see small children that are 1st & 2nd degree Blackbelts that do not know anymore than a white belt kid, & who also cant do push ups or sit ups correctly. Now Come on, they keep passing this kids to higher belts every other month when they force you to pay another $50. These people are FONY / FAKE Martial Artists. Do your self a favor if looking for a karate school stay away from victory, Find a real Martial Arts School. I am taking my loss of thousands of dollars $$$$$ and putting my son in a real school. Pros: excersise for kids Cons: $$$$$$$ every time you turn around they want more $$$$$$ more
