Worth Raving About ! 2/19/2009

I've been to quite a few dentists in my lifetime, but no one seems to compare to the expertise I've observed nor the personal, caring attention I've enjoyed at Astoria Dental Group. No one "likes" going to the dentist, but frankly, when it's as painless and friendly like this, you don't really mind. Dr. Degel is tops , the office equipment is state of the art, and you're treated with tender loving care which I have so appreciated over the years. Not to sound corny, but my smile is wider because of him. I have recommended him to family and friends, and will surely continue to do so. more

Dr. Degel Works His Magic ! 1/7/2009

I was always self conscious about the space between my teeth, but never wanted to endure the pain or expense of doing something about it. Then Dr. Degel convinced me by showing me some digital images (before and after) of what I'd look like, explained the process thoroughly. answered all my questions & put me at ease. ... I am SOO glad I did it-- I simply love my veneers and the procedure was practically painless & well worth the cost. The compliments have been many & I no longer shun showing my teeth in photos! I've also done Brite Smile whitening here with great results too. The office has state of the art equipment, the staff is friendly and supportive, and Dr. Degel is a "magician" doing smile makeovers! I've been a very satisfied patient for over 5 years & would highly recommend Astoria Dental Group to anyone!. Patient from Whitestone, NY. more

Pain Free Dental Work 4/14/2008

I have been to dentists before and no matter how many shots i get, i am always in pain and feel everything. Which now have caused me to be the nervous wreck that i am at the dentist. With Dr. Egel i didn't feel any pain at all. The atmosphere was very relaxing, chairs give massages and you're comfortable. The prices are a bit high, but then again, you get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend him. I found out he was famous and well known after the fact. Just a plus i guess. Pros: fast service, friendly staff and modern office Cons: parking....almost every time i get a ticket more

Unethical 7/5/2006

My treatment was not at all as expected. Besides treatment, even charges arent as expected. You get a card for free consultation. Even then they end up charging you. Also tries to get work done that is not necessary, causing you more work. Dissapointing. Pros: famous Cons: costs more than necessary more
