I thought it was just me or maybe the office was having a bad day or something. But I have to echo the sentiment of the review that said they received discrimination by the same race as well as very unprofessional behaivor at this office. I went in for my bi-annual deep teeth cleaning. I received a myriad of x-ray panels. (Only later did I find out that the level of x-rays were unnecessary and not normal for a new patient.) Then when the dentist came in, he was not friendly, he did not even introduce himself, and after doing the oral exam, asked me if I had any dental work done. I told him I had some silver fillings removed to which he said, ""so why did you do that."" And that was it. He left the room and his dental assistant handed me a bill for future extensive dental work. I went in for a deep cleaning, which I didn't receive because they said they no longer do them. The dental assistant said if they had to remove plaque from my teeth with a tool that it's now considered a Full Mouth Debridement. (A procedure that is convienently not covered fully by any insurance company and that you can only receive once in your LIFETIME.) What? I said ""No thank you"" and I left. I have had regular dental insurance AND kept up with regular dental appointments. And while my teeth aren't hollywood perfect, my previous dentists have taken very good care of my teeth. I am also aware of my dental needs. Sincerely, these people saw me as someone they could take advantage of. And sadly I have to say, the racial tension and total dismissiveness was unmistakable. I have since moved on to a different dental office with none of the unnecessary drama or more importantly, none of the price and procedure gouging I was about to receive from this office.
Pros: Nothing over comes the cons
Cons: Unprofessional behaivor, racial bias, price and procedure gouging
