I had the absolute worst customer service experience of my life at Asia West. The manager named Jill, was the rudest salesperson I have ever encountered. I had a problem with an item I had put on layaway and instead of being polite, respectful, or understanding, she treated me like a child that needed to be punished. She accused me of lying when I noted that the piece had been damaged since I put it on layaway, and continually threw snide remarks in my face. I work in retail myself, and I am appalled that people like Jill think this is a good way of going about business -- whatever happened to 'the customer is always right'? I have had plenty of less than desirable customers in my own business and I would never treat anyone in this manner. I will never purchase from Asia West again -- which is too bad for them because I have an entire new house to furnish.
