Poor Service 4/2/2012

Went in on 8 am. One gentlemen ahead of me. Ashley G talked on the phone for 10 minutes while I waited to tan. 2 other people came in after me. Finally myself and one other person had to leave to go to work. Ashley G. then informed me that the system was down. Would have been nice if she took a minute from her phone conversation to inform us of that before two of us wasted our time waiting. Seems like every time she works I wait. The rest of the staff seems competent but if Ashley G. is on duty prepare to wait. more

Fraudulent Charges on my debit card! 3/20/2012

Poor customer service and fraudulent charges on my debit card. The help at the front desk was snooty and the employees acted like they hated their job. On more than one occasion I was standing in line behind people (I'm assuming boyfriends) who had no intention of tanning but were just talking and visiting with the girls behind the desk. I received a hello but was not assisted until after they were done visiting with their friends. Unprofessional. Twice I had the experience of getting into a room, undressing, and realizing after the fact that my bed had not been cleaned. After my dissatisfaction with the establishment I decided to cancel my membership and tan someplace else. After my membership was cancelled, I was still charged a monthly fee the month after I had cancelled. I spoke with the manager, I asked her if the money would just be credited back to my account, she said no, and that she was sending a check and I would receive it in 4-7 business days. For nearly a month I had a number of random employees tell me I should be receiving it any day. After calling today and asking why I have not yet received the check, they told me they credited it back to my account and that I should have received it weeks ago. I have not been credited any money, I have not received a check, and still cannot manage to speak with the manager even though I have left many massages asking to speak with her. Do not leave your debit card information with this establishment! If you call and ask why you were charged and are told ?you will receive a check in the mail? insist that you go in person and pick it up that day. I have tanned at a number of different places and this was the worst experience. more
