I was referred to Ascent Hearing from my audiologist in Reno Nevada. Dr. Malin is the type of health professional that cares beyond the timing of your appointment. Hearing loss and how to adjust to it, is a process that always requires fine tuning. Rest assured, Dr Malan will spend the time needed to make your hearing experience the best it can be. Linda in the front office is friendly, kind and professional. Thank you Dr Malan for your help. more

The best doctor I've ever had! 2/19/2014

All doctors should be like Dr. Malan - he's highly skilled and educated, informative, has state of the art offices and equipment and a wonderful staff. But more importantly, Dr. Malan listens, he cares, he's accessible, he has solutions for your problems, he's likeable (actually, you'll love him), and he's a fantastic person. If you need an audiologist - look no further!! more

Kind, caring, understanding, and bright! Both Dr. Milan and Linda are wonderful. 12/2/2013

I could not have asked for anything more. I would not believe how kind and understanding the doctor was. He gave me the gift of hearing normal again. Linda is as kind as Dr. Milan. It was a wonderful and heartfelt experience. I would and have already recommended them to friends and family. Five stars for sure. more

MORE than 5 stars! 9/11/2013

Everything with Ascent Audiology & Hearing was convenient. They use the most modern technology I've ever seen. They were able to restore so much of my hearing. I liked everything, the people were nice, and I liked that they explained what needed to be explained. I could actually see what they were doing. It was a terrific experience. more

Ascent has a friendly atmosphere and up-to-date technology to give you the best experience. I enjoy hearing the birds sing in the morning again and thank Dr. John Malan for this. I am happy with my results. more

Honest doctor, great store. 7/18/2013

Ascent Audiology and Hearing was wonderful.I just bought my hearing aid from them and I was very impressed with them. The office is clean and uncluttered and everything is filed where it should be. When you see the doctor, he doesn't fool around with time and doesn't suggest things you don't need. He is a very, very honest man and I have sent him several people already. more

Nice and professional 7/15/2013

I went to Ascent Audiology and Hearing because I had a hearing aid that needed a new earpiece. I found the people there very personable. He told me what he was going to do and explained what he was going to do for me. They couldn't have been any nicer or any more professional. I'm not having any problem at all with the hearing aid. It was an excellent experience! I think very highly of them. They couldn't have been more cordial. more

My experience with Dr. Malan and Linda was like being with loving family members. It was the most thorough exam, and the most pleasant way to be introduced to wearing hearing aids. I have recommended this office to all I know. more

Excellent, John is an expert and his staff was wonderful 6/6/2013

Dr. John put me through a battery of hearing tests. He explained to me the areas of hearing impairment I was experiencing at the time. I followed his prescription with a new hearing device and life couldn't be better. I don't have to lip read anymore. Thanks! more

Professional, educate you on the products 5/22/2013

Ascent Audiology and Hearing is professional, nice, considerate, and they take plenty of time with me and my husband. They are like real people who treat you like friends yet professional at the same time. They explained everything and I was absolutely ready and educated before I bought any products. They are always available by phone if you need to stop in and see them. more
