Every time I get my haircut at As You Like It Hair Salon I am blown away. One would think that all you get at a salon is a hair cut, but at As You Like It you get so much more. ou get a wonderful and relaxing experience. The women that work there aren't just beautiful, they truly care about their customers. The name is perfect because you get exactly what you want as you like it. Sharon, Marlene, Joyce, Kim, Pensri, Nancy... it doesn't matter who cuts your hair because all the women working there are amazing. If you go to As You Like It you will not be disappointed. That's a guarantee from me. more

This a great salon. As YOU LIKE IT 2/1/2012

As you like it hair salon, is the best in town!! I have had bad experiences with other salons before that severly damaged my hair. Marlean fixed that all for me!! She gave me an amazing hair treatment, a color, and a new cut! I looked absolutly beautiful for my daughters wedding. The staff was highly helpful and very very nice! I would highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants to look absolutly fabulous!! Thanks Girls!! more

As YOU LIKE IT 1/25/2012

I just visited As you Like It for the first time and was so impressed with the entire staff. Iwas greeted instantly and my stylist introduced herself to me. I was consulted with about my hair before going to shampoo bowl.My cut and color was perfection. My stylist actually listened to me doing what I wanted. Thank You for making my experience totally awesome. more

No accountability and responsibility 1/18/2012

I am new to the town and heard about the salon while visiting the Jazz cafe next door. I went for a cut first followed by a keratin treatment. I was satisfied with my haircut but felt completely cheated with the Keratin treatment. I spent over 340 dollars for the treatment and product, I followed all the rules but the treatment did not last one wash...when I went to follow up some more product was infused in my hair with very less improvement. I felt I just threw 300 dollars down the drain with absolutely no difference in my hair neither the look nor the feel, so I consulted the owner/manager and ask her if they do not have a good treatment for my hair at least provide some form of courtesy reimbursement through some free cuts or discounts towards future appointments so that at least part of my 300dollars spending would be fair...to my surprise I was told to select another salon. This is the best this salon had to offer me after I spent so much on their services that were no good...I would never go back there and am taking my business to another place that values customers and respects their time and money. I should have just been unprofessional like them and asked for a complete refund of my money. I had to pay a big price for being courteous and respectful, this salon does not deserve that.\r \r more

I was a new client at As You Like It and Danielle did my hair. I got a cut and color and I very pleased with how it came out. She did and amazing job, and it turned out just the way I wanted it. I have received many compliments on how great my hair looks! The shop had a friendly atmosphere and everyone there was very welcoming. I will def. will be a returning customer. more

The best in the area! 10/27/2011

Steph and all the girls here rock! The salon is very hip & trendy and caters to all different age groups. I was offered coffee and soda while waiting for my hair to process, the last salon I went to in Westford wanted a dollar for a cup of coffee. This place is bustling, in a good way. It has a great vibe and is welcoming. I am much happier with this new salon! Scheduling is easy, and I feel that anybody there would go above and beyond to help you and make sure that you have a good experience. With Steph doing my hair I never have to worry & have a total peace of mind. I think that makes for a great salon experience! What gal isn't constantly worrying about how her hair's going to come out? I would suggest calling for an appointment, you won't regret it! more

Best Cut and Color 10/6/2011

I tried Stephanie out for a first time because I was referred to her by a good friend and had a great first time experience! She was well educated and up to date on her styles and she has a great eye for creativity. I needed a new look and turned to her for a cut and color. She was well experienced in the latest and greatest coloring techniques. I was looking for something with some spunk and edginess to it. when she was done my color I loved it. She used a technique on me known as the Cat-eye. Its a block coloring technique that specifically places a block of color on the head and it was ROCKIN! It was just the look I needed to feel fun and flirty. I was very pleased with my hair cut and style as well. My hair cut had great texture and movement to it. I also had her wax my brows for me and they are the best shape I think anybody has achieved. She was very helpful and gave great suggestions as to what would suit my style, personality and face shape. I was immediately complemented on my hair shortly later that day and still have people stop me at various places to tell me how much they love my hair and asking where I had it done. I will definitely be returning to see her for follow up color, cut and wax appointments. I highly recommend her to others. more

Christina & Megan Rock! 1/31/2011

I started going when I needed a new style, and Christina gave me the royal treatment. I had been growing my hair past my waist, and it had gotten to the point where it was not flattering, but I didn't know what I wanted. I finally decided to take the plunge, and when I brought a picture in of a celeb's hair style that I liked, Christina discussed the cut with me and made some suggestions that helped make my new style PERFECT for me! Then she took her time, shaping and layering or whatever they call it, getting my feedback on the overall length, bangs, etc. It's been at least 2 years now and I still get so many compliments on how my hair style suits me. I color my own hair, and Christina is kind but honest when I ask her about whether I've gone too light or just right! Once when Christina wasn't available, Megan filled in for her. I was nervous, but she did an excellent job at keeping the style I love, which is amazing considering I was long overdue for a cut. Great place! more

Great Stylists! 12/10/2010

Ive been going to As You Like It for a few years now and LOVE IT!!! they are always talking about new things they've learned and new products! I recently had Sarah put in these new neo extensions to make my hair longer and fuller and i am so pleased with what she did! the best part is they are easy to take and reuse i didnt have to worry about glue or ruining my own hair! would reccommend her and the salon to anyone! more

Cutting Edge Style... 12/10/2010

Absolute cutting edge style... thats the only way to describe the impression you get as you walk through the front door of As You Like It Salon. You are made to feel welcome by the friendly and professional staff at the front desk giving you a sense of ""how can we help you"" not the ""what do you need from us"" like most people are used to at other establishments. All of this professionalism only serves as a backdrop to the phenominal skill in which the stylists convey in their cuts, colors, and perms. I personally had my hair cut by Meg, but after seeing the work from the other stylists, I would personally recommend any one of them without a second thought! more

You thought all the barbers were gone? 8/11/2010

Just a note for all the guys who want to get their hair cut but hate going to the ""beauty salon"" because it takes an hour to get a cut and the ladies talk your ear off. Remember the barbers you could just walk in to and get a quick cut and get back to work? Try Meghan at As You Like It in Acton.\r \r She's a young cute lady but don't let that fool you, she a licensed barber who will have you in and out of her chair in 15 minutes flat, so you can get back to your day.\r \r I'm sure she'll keep you there longer if you want, but I love the fact that I can get my hair cut without wasting my whole lunch hour on it.\r \r more

GREAT SALON 8/19/2008

This salon is great! the stylists are all wonderful and seem to work as a team. The are all very professional and offer great services like the new Keratin relaxer! im not sure how long ago the comment from the other lady was but the salon has now been updated because the decor is very nice, there is no wierd blue that she mentions and i def. did not see any mullets! Great stylists! Great prices! Great Hair! Pros: EVERYTHING! Cons: nothing! more

Great Salon! 2/20/2008

I am posting this review because of the previous post about how awful the salon is. I completely disagree with her and hope that you will find my review much more enlightening. \r \r I have been going to As You Like It for about 8 years. I have had the same hairdresser for about 3. Her name is Jen and she is fabulous! Everytime I come out of the chair, my hair is the exact way I wanted it. The salon has recently been updated and now boasts a clean and relaxing environment. (Not that it didn't before, but now it's even more amazing!) I would highly reccomend this salon because it's affordable and you always get what you want. The staff is nothing but professional and friendly. Don't listen to someone's review who has been to this salon only a couple times. The fact that i am still going there after 8 years, should make the most impact.\r \r I highly reccomended this salon - go see Jen, you'll be glad you did!!! Pros: Affordable, friendly staff, clean and relaxing! more

Outdated Salon/Style/Stylists 3/28/2007

This salon is full of stylists still sporting the shag/mullet that was *maybe* popular in the 70's. They keep raising the prices, but nothing has been updated in the past 20 years. The salon is a hideous pink and blue, the staff is rude and immature (you can bet they are sticking their tongues out and crossing their eyes while they think you can't see them). I've just had several horrible experiences everytime I go there. The service is basic - there are no nice extras or a comfortable atmosphere. \r Last time I left I ended up with my hair over an inch shorter on one side. I went to another (more upscale) salon that cost me about the same to get it fixed. \r I would suggest looking into other salons in the area. This place is just not worth the money or aggrevation. Pros: None. Cons: Ugly outdated decor, horrible haircut, bad staff more
