As We Grow Learning Center-Cypress

This is my second child coming here. My son Marty, age 2 started talking around 13 months. He said Dada, Noah, Bubba, Momma, No no. Then went non verbal by age 2. Doctors were thinking mild autism. He got tubes placed in his ears in Dec 2011 at age 32 months. His hearing test showed the need. He started Simple Steps Jan 31, 2012. He is doing very well with this structured environment. His home demeaner is much happier and cooperative. He is now a very happy and verbal boy. He says bye bye, no no, I want that, Thank you, and more with each day. He is less angry and frustrated. He has thrived from the love and care of his teacher, Ms. Jenna H. She and all the staff truly care for ""their kiddos"" and you feel it everytime you walk in the building! This Learning Center is awesome! My son Noah has gone here for a while now and absolutely loves it. At first he would throw fits but the director told us it would take a little while for Noah to have ownership and boy was she right! He now goes into the Center and knows everyone and truely enjoys going to school. No more fits. I am so thankful for Tonya and all her staff! Noah loves them all. His pre-school teacher is Ms. Brittany and is absolutely WONDERFUL! My son came in not knowing his alphabet or writing and he is doing BOTH now. This Center really cares! I recommend this center to all. Pros: opens early 6:30- 7pm. Cons: NONE...really! more
