I called and they said they had my blower motor for my car. I show up and he said it was sitting on the counter. I told him it was not the right one. He did not believe me so I went out to the car to get mine. He agreed and I left. A few min. later I get a call. He said I switched motors because the one he had had marking s on it and the one he had had none. I promptly turned around and went back to clear the air. I was accused of stealing and showed the motor I had had no markings. They did not believe me and wanted to search my car. So I let them. They did not find the motor needless to say. A few min. later a guy walked up with the motor they were talking about. It was in the back the whole time!!! I was then asked if I wanted to by it, and I could have a free sandwich for being accused of being a thief. Thanks a bunch but no thanks. Avoid at all costs. NEVER AGAIN. more

So I first experienced Art's Parts earlier this morning when I was searching for seats for my truck. I saw that they had a set and promptly called them up. The guy who answered was fairly rude, not so much with what he said, but how quickly he tried to dismiss me and get me off the phone. After arriving at their yard, I looked at the seats, asked if they could be returned (twice) and was told it wouldn't be a problem at all. The seats weren't the best, and I really didn't want them, but hey, they could be returned. That is when we ran into a problem. The seats did not fit in my vehicle properly, so I decided to take them back.. yanno.. since I was assured it'd be no big deal. So I drive another half hour to go back, walk into the office and tell em I was bringing the seats back. I was then (and only then) informed that I could only exchange them for other seats. After I disagreed a few times I just grabbed my receipt and walked out, never to see these people again and eat my loss. As I was walking out, the salesman proceeding to inform me that ""maybe I should learn how to listen better to what people say."" ... umm.. ok jerk, I'll get right on that! So instead of getting a restock fee out of me (for undoing 8 bolts... I had to clean the damn things myself) and giving me some of my money back. They made sure they will get no future business from myself or anyone I know. There are a lot of yards out there with better prices, I would advise you to make the extra drive just to avoid Art's. Pros: nearby? had what I was looking for? Cons: high prices, say anything to make a sale. more

I called Arts Parts after calling several different places looking for a headlight assembly for my Impala. Arts did have the part which was a new part and almost $150 cheaper than the dealer. So why wouldn't I use them? The people there were very nice and actually held the part until I was able to come in and pay for it. I would recommend them for numerous reasons. You can also log onto their site and view their inventory which was very helpful for me. more

had a busted out window that i needed to replace for cheap, so i called all the junkyards in middletown. nearly everyone i talked to was vague, rude, or just seemed like they didn't care about getting my business. art's was different. they were very detailed in getting me the exact window that i needed, with the correct tint. they confirmed that it was in stock and quoted the price over the phone. even though they were $15 higher on the price, i didn't have to wast my time getting the wrong part, or dealing w/ rude people. i let them know that despite the higher price, i chose them for their superior service. they gave me a $5 break :) i recommend them. more

This placehas been in business for quite a few years. I would not reccommend it to any of my family or friends nor anyone else. They are quite expensive on their parts. Every time I havewent in there they have quoted me a pricethat Icould put a few more dollars with and buy a new or rebuilt part. more

This place is outrageous on their prices for used car parts. I would not recommend it to anyone. They are rude and not very helpful at all. Everytime I have went in there and asked the price of something I have found it alot cheaper at other salvage yards. I would not tell anyone about this place. more

This place is outrageous on their prices for used auto parts. And they do not gaurantee that they will work. It is nasty and people park anywaytheywant to uin the parking area. The employees I have dealtwith havebeen rude andmakes youfeel like youarea bothertothem. They have all kinds of junk cars in the yard. I would not tell anyone about this place. more
