Very disappointed with the Services of Bob at Artistic Upholstery. This is a WARNING, if you decide to work with Bob, get everything in writing, especially how payments are captured. His writing is not legible so make sure you re-write info clearly and have him sign it. Any updates or changes, put in writing and have him sign it. Do not do anything verbal with him!! If you do, he will make changes and swear you did not say what you said. Took over two months to get furniture back after been told work would take four weeks Before the furniture was delivered, Bob place an unauthorized charge on my credit card for the balance!! I was furious! I called him; he did not answer; so left a voice mail telling him he had no right to charge my card before our transaction was complete! As I was calling the credit card company, he called and told me "oh, this is what I always do". I said that was never shared with me, nor is it written on our agreement! Bob changed the designed of my furniture and omitted the pillow looking full, cushion section at the bottom of each piece and replaced with a thin, flat piece!! So in order for the recliners to match they too were flat with thin cushions. So when I sat in the recliner I felt nothing but wood on my legs. Here was a professional upholsterer that seemed to not know that a recliner needs extra cushions on the leg rest to be comfortable. I was speechless! When I finally talked with him, he seemed not to know why I was upset. He said he would fix everything. I was so disappointed with Bob and his quality of service that I was at the point that I wanted nothing more to do with him. I did permit him to fix the problems but I will never do business with him again.
