Amy Sandoval is Remarkable! 4/5/2009

Amy Sandoval was such a wonderful surprise. She did exactly what I wanted and so much more. Amy is a not only a perfectionist, but a professional who strives to make every customer more than satisfied with the results. Who would want any less? I will never have to look for another stylist as long as she continues with her passion. I fully, and whole heartedly recommend Amy Sandoval for any hair issue. She is the absolute best! Definitely the place to go. 3/18/2009

Artistic Creations is always the place I go to get my hair looking good again usually after months of not keeping it up. BUT my hairstylist Amy Sandoval ALWAYS does a great job at bringing my hair back to it's former beauty. :) Pros: Healthy hair & beautiful color. Cons: N/A more

Laurie Hall 3/15/2009

I have been looking for years for a great stylist, I went to mark pardo's salon and never was happy with the results, or prices. Then I found Laurie Hall at Artistic Creations. Wow!!!!She is great!!! I am blonde and she did such a great job. I now get complements where I never did before I am sending all my friends to her!!! Great job Laurie!!! Pros: best hairdresser I have ever gone to more

Marisa is the girl to see! 1/25/2009

I've lived in Alb all my life and i typically go out of town to get my hair done. Its always hard to find a Hairstylist to actually listen to what u want. Until i met Marisa that is. I really wanted my hair done for my 26th birthday bash and she was able to fit me in for a cut and color last minute. Marisa really listen to what i wanted and was able to create exactly what i was wanting. I would highly recommend her for all your cut and coloring needs. Thanks for the great job, i got compliments all night. =) Pros: Prices are worth every penny more

Happy hair from Vegas 1/23/2009

I'm from Las Vegas, Nevada and I recently came to Albuquerque for Christmas and was on City Search looking for the best hairstylist to cut my hair. I am very picky about my hair and since I am from Vegas I go to the most upscale and professional salons that Vegas has to offer. I have heard about Amy from a friend of mine and read her reviews and felt comfortable enough to book with her. I got a haircut from Amy and loved it. She has such a good sense of style and my cut was cute and trendy and most of all she took her time and styled my hair so cute that I even got compliments. I am always looking for someone to take their time, not to rush, and to style my hair all the way. Amy did! I absolutely love her she has a great personality and is easy to talk to and it was a pleasure to have her as my stylist. I highly recommend Amy and can't wait to see her again! Thank you Amy!! more

A Person Who Knows Blondes! 1/21/2009

Moving to Albuquerque around 8 Months ago I have searched for a hairdresser that could get my blonde right. No matter where I went it always to orange until Laurie. Laurie took the time to listen to what I wanted and gave me the perfect ""BLONDE"" that I was used to (Great Job Laurie)! If you want someone who understands blondes Laurie Hall is your gal! Salon was energetic and enjoyable! Great experience all around! more

Great Color & Cut 1/19/2009

OK, so I thought I would try something new and decided to dye my hair myself at home. The outcome? Let's just say I will never do that again. I called the day of the hair disaster and they were able to fit me in the follow monday. Thank God! Because I was soon to be on my way on a business trip. My appointment was with Marisa and she did a great job, my color came out better than expected and the cut was perfect. I would recommed Marisa to anyone looking for a great color and cut. Great place to get your hair done 1/10/2009

Artistic Creations in Hair is a great place to get your hair done here in ABQ. It's hidden away in a cluster of shopping centers near Eubank & Candelaria. \r \r Maria Lampasi and the other hairstylists really know their stuff. Cheerful and friendly. Definitely try it out. more

OMG I just moved to Albq a few months ago. I was so leary of finding a hairstylist here. I couldn't afford to fly back home to my stylist every 5-7 weeks. She told me to check out citysearch for reviews of stylists in my new city. So I did. I found Amy. I read all the reviews and thought I gotta check this chick out. WOW!!! I was so Impressed! She gave me what I wanted but more fitted for me. She asked me questions that I never thought would be so crucial in achieving the style I wanted. I have to tell you that I am so pleased. Best hair dresser EVER! 7/11/2008

I'm probably the most indecisive person in the world, and whenever I'd go in to get my hair cut or colored I always ask my hair dresser what their opinions are. In the past, I've gotten some pretty random opinions and some pretty bad advice from lots of different hair dressers...ultimately resulting in my hair looking completely opposite of what I wanted. My friend knows how much trouble I have with my hair and referred me to her hair dresser, Amy Sandoval. The very first time I went in I asked her opinion and she did such an amazing job!!! I've been going to her for almost a year now, and every single time I get my hair cut or colored I absolutely LOVE it!! Go to Amy, trust me..she knows what she's talking about!!! I have been a client of Amy Sandoval for some time now. I am very happy with my hair and look foward to see her every time! I Color my hair quite often and she always gives me the color i want! I have recently recommended my Mom, Grandmother and sister to Amy and they are very satisfied. Girl Knows Her Color!!! 7/8/2008

Amy Sandoval truely knows her art. I have previously been to salons in Santa Fe where I am from, but I have NO problem traveling the 45 min to get my hair done by Amy. I have a tendency to change my hair color everytime I get my hair done, I get my hair done every month. This could be very damaging but my hair has NEVER been so long and in better shape than it is now that Amy has been doing it. She colors and cuts it all for a reasonable price. Best Hairsylist Ever 7/7/2008

In the past I have gone to a few different hairstylists. I am very uneasy about just going to anybody for my hair needs. There has not been a hairstylist yet that has been able to get the color and cut I was looking for. That was until I found Amy Sandoval. She is able to listen to what I want and accomplish the creation I imagined. She is very professional and yet personable. I love this girl. If you are looking for a great colorist and stylist along with a wonderful cut, then you have to go to Artistic Creations and ask for Amy Sandoval. I came from Laguna Beach, CA and was truly in doubt of anyone here in Alburq to trust with my hair cut and color, let alone style. Thank God I found Amy! She has saved the day, or weekend on more than one occasion. I have usually been in a panic and called her last minute and she has always fit me in. I have never been disappointed with what she comes up with in terms of style. I just love her color and highlights/lowlights that she does. AND very reasonably priced. Laurie Hall - Best Hair Experience!! 6/26/2008

Laurie Hall is THE GREATEST!!! I got the absolute best hair color with Laurie. I thought I was destined to have ""blah"" hair and she gave me hilites and depth that made me look years younger. Not only was the color great but I am very pleased with the cut and the whole experience. Great service plus great conversation. Kris has been coloring and cutting my hair for almost a year now since I moved to New Mexico, and I couldn't be happier to have found her. Over the years it has been nearly impossible for me to find someone who can cut my hair well, since I have a ton of hair, and Kris does a great job with the color as well. Kris is an expert in both. She has a great personality so the time flies by, and her price is quite reasonable considering the quality of her services. I just moved to Albuquerque and we all know how hard it is to find a good hair dresser. I was going back and forth to Denver just to get my hair done by my old hair dresser. Well, citysearch is very popular in Denver so I thought I would try it for Albuquerque. That is when I read the reviews for Kris at Artistic Creations Salon. I crossed my fingers and made an appointment. I went very basic since this was my first time. I had Kris trim my hair and add some highlights. When she finished drying my hair I was very impressed. It looked beautiful and she was cheaper than my old hair dresser. No need to go back to Denver! Pros: Friendly staff Cons: Small salon more

GO TO KRIS BLAKNEY 3/5/2006

I have NEVER been able to find a good hair stylist here in Albuquerque. I've even went to some of the high priced salons like Stockton Hair Artist. Where I can say I was not happy at all with the out come of my hair especially for the price. That wasn't the case Saturday when I went to Kris. She high lighted, colored, and face framed my hair. It is absolutely GORGEOUS! I have never been so happy with my hair! It's nice to know that I can trust someone with my hair finally! She is AMAZING, I would highly recommend for ANYONE to go with her, you will be thrilled you did, I know I was! more

I found Kris from this site. I've been looking for a stylist and now I've found her. She died and straighten my hair. I love the color, it's been over five weeks now and it hasn't faded, and when it comes to my hair thats amazing. I didn't even have to ask her to striaghten my hair, she did it on her own. I can't say enough good things about her. I definetly recommend going to Kris. more
