Artichokes Ristorante

I've been to Artichokes two times before tonight. I remembered their food being good and the prices reasonable. So it's Friday night and my boyfriend and I wanted to go out, but wanted to stay close to home. I suggested going to Artichokes and I can't express how disappointed I was by the experience. We were seated within 10 minutes, but it took 20 minutes for our waitress to greet us and bring us water. Okay, we weren't in a hurry. Then almost an hour after we placed our order, no food or waitress. I was angry. My bl00d sugar was running low. It's 9pm at night and I was starving in a restaurant. The waitress was no where to be found. I didn't have a chance to complain, ask for my food or get my parking validated. We walked out. Cons: didn't have a chance to taste the food more

Went there for dinner. The bruschetta was large and very good. The place is small and the service good. I had gnocchi and my wife the fusilli with eggplant. Both were good. Prices were reasonable. A very nice spot in Malden and we will be going back. Pros: Good food Cons: Parking more

This is an adorable little restaurant that has a dimly lit and sort of warm atmosphere. The wait staff was very attentive. You definitely get what you pay for in this place. Not only was our bruschetta enormous (and good) but so were our main courses. I had food to munch on for days. Delicious. Worth the trip to malden. more
