So I have not been to the dentist in years and was apprehensive about going again until my co-worker suggested this dentist. The office was super friendly and on my first visit they offered me a flouride rinse that I did not know alot about so I said sure I would try it. The rinse was basically just like the over the counter flouride rinses but when I received my bill for care I owed $21 for that mouth wash. Then I was told that my old cavity fillings were beginning to errode and should be replaced to avoid bacteria from growing beneath the filing. I was given a quote from the dentist of an out-of-pocket expense of $232. I agreed to schedule the appointment as that would not be a huge expense and it needed to be done. When I went to my appointment they brought me to my chair only to have me wait for about 30 minutes before beginning any work. Then after numbing my mouth he left and I could hear him working on another patient while I waited for another 15 minutes or so. Well I just received my bill and I owe $615 out-of pocket. When I called to inquire about this gross mistake the office personnal insured me that this was common practice and that there was no way for their office to know that my insurance would not cover the amount they quoted me. I GOT THERE 10 MIN. B4 MY APPT. ON THRUSDAY TO HAVE BRITE SMILE DONE. I SAT IN THE WAITING ROOM OVER A 40 MINS , THEN WENT BACK. I WAS TREATED WELL AND THE GIRL(MANDY) WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL.I MENTIONED DURING AND AFTER THAT MY BOTTOM LIP FELT LIKE IT HAD BEEN STRECHTED TO THE POINT OF SPLITTING. THE NEXT DAY OR TWO I NOTICED A BURNIING FEELING FROM MY LIP. TO MY HORROR I I LOOKED AT THE BLISTERS ON MY BOTTOM LIP CAUSED BY THE SPILLING OF THE BRITE SMILE ON MY LIP. IT IS VERY PAINFUL AND I CALLED ON MONDAY TO BE TOLD IF IT WAS NOT GONE BY THURSDAY (A FULL 8 DAYS LATER) TO CALL. I WOKE UP THURSDAY WITH MY LIPS STUCK TOGETHER, WHEN I OPENED THEM IT PULLED THE SKIN OFF MY LIP ( M*&^%$F*&^%$ !). I CALLED AND THE PERSON WHOM ASK ME TO CALL WAS OFF THURSDAY ! PHYLLLIS ASK MY IF I COULD COME IN RIGHT THEN, OF COURSE I LIVE ABOUT 20 MILES AWAY, I ALSO HAD A APPT, AND COULD NOT. SHE SAID DR.WYCH WOULD CALL ME AFTER HOURS. HE CALLED ABOUT 7 :30 OR SO AND BASICLY TOLD ME SOME THING I COULD BUY TO GET SOME RELEIF. WHAT THE HELL ??? YOU CAUSE BLISTERS ON MY LIP AND WANT ME TO BUY STUFF FOR RELEIF ? IT HAS BEEN THE MOST HORRENDOUS VISIT TO A DENIST IN MY WHOLE LIFE. NOT TO MENTION THE LACK OF RESPONSIBILITY AND LIBILITY DR,WYCH HAS SHOWN IS INCREDIBLY NEGLIGENT AND SHOWS VERY LITTLE CONCERN FOR THE ACT HIS OFFICE CAUSED TO MY LIP. I AM STILL DEALING WITH A INJURED LIP 9 DAYS AFTER THE VISIT, THIS SUCKS ! more
