Mini golf on a budget! 11/29/2005

This miniature golf course is awesome for anyone who is looking for some cheap fun. The mini golf course only costs about $2, and it's not very well lit and it's very small but for $2 what do you expect? It's good fun if you go with friends and are able to laugh about it at the same time. It's definitely worth making the trek out to just for a cheap fun adventure. The real golf course looks good too! more

Cheap Golf 8/20/2005

This golf course is just an 18 hole pitch and putt. All you need to take along is an iron, a pitching wedge, and your putter. The playing surface is relatively flat throughout the course with only a few trees and a couple sand traps. Green fees are a bargain. It is a good place for beginners and children who are just starting out. They also have a miniature golf course, but it is old and not maintained. more

Green hidden in the rough 8/12/2005

This golf course is one that many would simply skip over or miss if they didn't see it. Located in the Arroyo Seco, hence the name, the golf course is a short par 3 golf course. The holes are very straightforward, with some difficulties put in the way. Yes some of the holes you just need to be able to control your distance and hit the ball straight, but others you need to fade or draw around trees or to stay out of danger. They also have a driving range and a mini-golf course for the little aspiring golfers. more
