I am well overdue in conveying my thanks and appreciation to Air Around the Clock for the professional job they did for me a couple weeks ago. ATC dispatched an estimator the very same day I called. Adam was professional and personable, and he knew his topics. He scheduled the installation only three days from the time I accepted his quote. Thank you, Adam! The receptionist/dispatched was pleasant and efficient as well. The installation crew, comprised of Tony, Will and ""Jimbo"", worked together beautifully and was utterly pleasant and professional until the last minute, even with the fatigue that a long Saturday working day brings. And the icing on the cake, they picked up all the debris and cleaned up after them (my kind of people!). I was elated, especially because this is the first job I have had done in the house that did not raise my blood pressure. May I say, coming from the meticulous person that I am, this note is a real homage to ATC! Thanks! more

Their people are not only knowledgeable, they are pleasant to deal with and deliver on their promises. I have used Air Around the Clock for several years now, and whatever the issue, and there are very few, they are there in a timely matter to fix the problem. I wanted to take this opportunity to write this letter of thanks to your company for recently installing a new Rheem A/C split level system in my condo. I'm especially grateful for the two gentlemen you sent out to investigate the problem I was having with my 12 year old unit. Jeremy and Mark came to my residence on May 7th which was also on the same day that I called about the problems I was having with my A/C unit. There were on time, professional, and courteous. They spent about 40 minutes identifying the causes of the problems. They were extremely patient with all my questions. At no time did I ever feel pressured to purchase a new unit. They simply laid out the facts and explained what the best course of action would be. With the summer months coming I decided to move forward with a new system. It was one of the best purchases I ever made. The next day the Installers arrived to dismantle the old unit and replace it with the new one. It was a long day for both of them but by early evening my new A/C unit was turned on and began cooling off the residence. The new unit runs much quieter and more efficient. I am confident that it will run smoothly through the coming months and the high temperatures to come. more

This is to extend my belated gratitude and commendations to Air Around the Clock for their superior service and their staff. I was having problems with my A/C unit, and within the hour that I called ATC they were out at my house to diagnose the problem. The technician they sent out was very competent and courteous, and made sure that he explained everything he was doing in detail so I would understand it. I would definitely recommend ATC to anyone that wants prompt and accurate service. more

My unit is about 12 years old, so I wasn't completely surprised it shut down, but I was a bit blindsided having to deal with this problem late on Sunday. I heard good things about Air Around the Clock so I called them, never thinking I would be able to get someone to my house that night. I called and a real person answered the phone immediately! When they arrived they opened up my a/c and showed me how old and rusted everything was inside. They were able to get it working and gave me a free estimate on a new unit. Less then a week later I have my brand new air conditioner. I am so glad I made the decision to work with ATC. My reduced monthly electric bill is just icing on the cake!"" more

We appreciate your frustration with your air conditioning. We understand how important it is to have A/C in South Florida and attempt to do everything possible to make that happen for our customers. We see that the fuses were replaced and the permit was passed. We also see you called in 7:30 and again at 8:30. We are not sure what time you wrote this but our technician arrived at your house at your home at 2:45 PM on 10/29/2010. About 30 Minutes later our service technician left and everything was working. Absolutely Horrible Experience 10/29/2010

ATC Motto: F the Customer 7 months ago, our aging air conditioner finally quit. We priced out the best deals in the area and had some estimates. The best was 'Air Around the Clock' in Boca Raton, who would install our system for an agreed cash price. Since the installation, we've been cited by the City of Boca for their omission of a permit for the job, had the unit breakdown at least a dozen times, and been tortured by their poor service culture. Today, I've finally had it, the representative Eric whom I spoke to on the phone, cursing and yelling at me while I attempted to stand my ground on their service agreement. My guests who are visiting from out of town have to avoid my home today while we sit and wait for Eric and his service team to deal with the myriad other poor folks in the same spot as us. Our 1 Year ATC Service agreement and 24-Hour on call service is a joke. Don't use ATC for service, installation, or purchasing a new air conditioner unit unless you are a self-loathing masochist. You will not be happy, impressed, satisfied, or at home in a comfortably moderated climate. ATC...by the way, if you're reading this....make sure to check out all the other places I'm going to post the same exact thing. You p!$$ed me off, and now I'm on a mission to inform people of exactly what they're getting into when doing business with you.... I would like to take this opportunity to thank ATC for recently installing a new A/C unit in my condo. I am especially grateful for the two servicemen they sent beforehand to investigate the problem I was having with my 12-year-old unit. The guys they sent out were on time, professional and very courteous. They spent about 40 minutes identifying the cause of the problem and they were very patient when answering all my questions. The next day installers came to install my new unit and my house was cooling before the end of the day! I want to thank ATC for their time and extra effort. I am looking forward to doing business with them in the future, and would recommend them to anyone. more

BUYER BEWARE!!!Unprofessional, TERRIBLE Service! 8/21/2010

Let me start by saying this is the 1st bad review I've ever written. That said, our recent experience with Air Around The Clock was so awful that I feel compelled to warn people. We purchased an AC unit from them less than a year ago and we're still under warantee. We came home after being away for 3 hours on a Saturday and the AC had stopped working. We called Air Around The Clock and tried to trouble shoot over the phone but nothing worked. We asked that a service person come to the house to which they said ""If we send someone out on a weekend there is a charge of $175 that must be paid at time of service."" First we explained that we're still under warantee so there shouldn't be any charge to which they responded ""We do not consider the weekend to be normal business hours so there is a charge."" I found this humorous considering they do call themselves ""Air AROUND THE CLOCK."" After getting nowhere with them defending our right to free service since we're still under warantee, we asked if they could send someone and invoice us for the cost. The y refused stating we must pay cash at time of service. They had the nerve to tell us that the only way around paying is ""if we're considered VIP members."" When we asked what that means, they actually said ""that you're friends with the owner and you can get him to call on your behalf."" Wow.. They went on to tell us (I couldn't make this up if I tried) that they have two classes of clients, one of which is ""friends"" which again is defined as being friends with the owner. So I'm left to assume here that the other class is what? Enemies? We explained that this is a serious situation as we have a toddler with serious allergies and would be unable to sleep at our home without the AC working. They responded ""Fine. We'll call you back!"" The problem with that was that they hung up on me Before I could give them my number and, of course, they never did call back. Need I say more? more

Best AC Company EVER! 6/7/2010

I called Air Around the Clock since my AC wasn't working and it was crazy hot. I called at about 8am and they said they would come out that day! I couldn't believe it! Anyway, they said they would be there between 4 and 6 and they showed up at 4:30. By 5 the tech (who was super nice) had replaced the motor and the house was cool again. Thanks goodness! Bad workers. Bad management. Bad company 3/29/2010

Too bad no stars isn't an option. We have had a service contract with this company for 10 years and are not renewing it after our recent experiences with them. We had a problem with our AC and had a technician out to fix it last week. He didn't install the part properly and we were without AC for almost a week. He returned on Saturday and explained there was a loose wire in the part he installed. He tightened the wire, without ever apologizing for his original mistake or for the inconvenience caused to us having to wait around for another service call.\r \r When we asked him to perform our scheduled maintenance since he was there anyway and the repair took all of 2 seconds he refused and begin to lose his temper. He said having to do the maintenance call was ""not fair"" to HIM (um, isn't this his job....). What about what's fair to the customer who has been inconvenienced by his ineptitude? He went on to say it was my fault because I didn't schedule the maintenance when I called to have them fix what they didn't fix the first time. I suggested that I would call the company right then to get clearance from them for him to do the work and he still refused to do it. He then stormed out of my house like a 3 year old and refused to even answer a simple question we had about our thermostat. \r \r I called his boss to complain and may as well have been speaking to a corpse. The supervisor apologized but said he would not be taking any disciplinary action against the employee. When I informed him that we will not be renewing our 10 year contract, he was completly unfazed and did nothing to try to change my mind. Air Around the Clock BE WARNED 10/31/2009

AAATC installed a brand new AC unit about one year ago, with a cost of $4000. Today had to call them for a service call, when they arrived they had to flush out a pipe. After they did that AC seemed to be working just fine 45 minutes later, water is gushing from my ceiling ( as my unit is on the second floor) Called office and a very rude receptionist, Ann Maire answers the phone with no sense of urgency getting the tech back or to direct me how to get this water to stop. When tech finally arrives, immediately begins shouting that ""this is not my fault"" Flushing the pipes again and says that on many occasions it needs to be done twice. Not sure why this was not checked. Re flushed and left, Called office again to see who was going to repair my ceiling and a very rude Eric, claiming to be the owner tells me that it is not their responsibility, only if they blew the pipe out when cleaning it, they would cover it and fix the ceiling. After turning the AC back on, another 45 minute later, another leak now in a different location. Called back to get tech back, A very kind and considerate tech responded and even mentioned that it appears that the pipe was blown out due to the pressure the previous tech used to clear out pipe. There was no way to get to this pipe and they would have to install a pump that would cost $495. The story goes on and on and you guessed it Air Around the Clock has not fixed or repaired the ceiling, wall, rugs that they ruined. My very strong advice is to find another Air Conditioning Repair company. One that has some knowledge about AC repair, that has some customer service skills and does the job that you hired them for.
